From Paleto Bay to the Port of Los Santos and everywhere in between, it’s time to celebrate the birthplace of freedom with The Independence Day Special (in association with Ammu-Nation) for Grand Theft Auto Online.
Own the road from sea to shining sea with two new star spangled rides, the Sovereign motorcycle and the super-sized Liberator monster truck. And protect your rights the same way our Founding Fathers did with the latest addition to Ammu-Nation's antiques collection, the high-powered Musket... or channel your inner Jack Howitzer with the spectacular Firework Rocket Launcher.
Seven new properties have also been added to the Dynasty 8 rolls, including locations in Paleto Bay and Vinewood Hills that provide plenty of yard space to scorch the grass with your very own Fireworks show.
This limited-time update also features an overabundance of patriotic flare: show off nationalistic pride with a "Made in the U.S.A." t-shirt, a backwoods mullet or let the eagle soar with an animal mask featuring this great nation's most fearsome and majestic creatures. This special seasonal content will be available to redeem in-game until Mid-July (we will announce a specific redemption expiration date soon)
Does anyone know if Online is carrying over to PS4?

Good. I might get the updated version then.

Nice! Looking forward to getting this! I'm guessing, as usual, it won't support cross-platform transfers from 360 to PS4, so I'd have to buy it for both PS4 and One if I wanted to play with you guys, but also continue my 360 saves.
Very nice! I have held off getting this game because I was waiting for a PS4 release.
Never got very far with the story in this one just couldn't get into it but I might try it again via rental.
Also might get this as well for the xbox one. Should be good on the new consoles.
Definitely. I never really cared much (and can't even remember much now) about the stories from previous GTA games, but GTA V, I legitimately was interested in the story and how it was going to play out and what would happen to the guys. No GTA game has ever done that to me.

Well IMHO that isn't a high bar to reach. I've just never been all that interested in the story line. Honestly, Red Dead had the best story for a Rockstar game but that one also slipped by without me ever finishing it. It may just be the whole open world thing that I lose interest with quicky as I've only ever finished two open world campaigns (Watch Dogs and Sleeping Dogs)
Yeah that seems to be the consensus maybe I should give it another shot.
I think the only open world games I ever finished were RDR and GTAV. I like them both allot, but RDR is better, imo.

Yeah, if you keep your focus on the storyline and don't let all of the free roam stuff take your time, GTAV's story is actually somewhat interesting to follow and see what the end result is. The heists alone kept me wanting to keep playing, along with being interested in how the storyline played out.
I'm the same. I have finished GTA III and GTA IV, but RDR, GTA V and Watch Dogs are the most recent open world games I've managed to finish. Others, I start but end up not finishing.
