Well, not sure about breaking news. It was expected sooner or later. No way Rockstar just drops the GTA series with as popular as it is.

It better be way better than IV. Of course, with the gems they've developed in Red Dead Redemption and L.A. Noire, I have faith they'll succeed with flying colors.

IV was kinda boring. Enjoyable to play, but no reason to go back after you finish.

L.A. Noire definitely was far from sucking.

RDR wasn't much better. People were just some overwhelmed by the excellent job they did with the atmosphere of making it a western, they forgot to pay attention to how completely shitty the missions were. That game was boring as hell, just like LA Noire. Of course, I don't much care for these type of games anyway. Me playing GTA usually revolves around putting in the all-weapons cheat and creating mass hysteria for a few minutes and then getting bored of it, again.

I actually liked GTA IV, and loved RDR.

On the other hand, LA Noire is BORING, IMO.

Though I have to add that GTA IV was just okay, the Ballad of *** Tony was much better.

Linda Lovelace sucked less than LA Noire.

Sweet. I liked experiencing the story line and the different angles of the various major events that took place in GTA IV from the side of Nico, Johnny and Luis, and how they unknowingly were in involved in many of the various parts of the plot and seemed to be in the same place and same time on a lot of things, for different reasons/sides. So that'll be cool in GTA V, getting to continue to see different sides and angles of the story that you don't get to see with just one character.

I loved GTA III San Andreas but GTA IV left a lot to be desired. I will give GTA V a shake... (but only after the kids are sound asleep).

Just saw the live reveal of the trailer. Got more than expected. It's going to be in L.A. and in modern day. Could be 25 years after the events of Vice City, and 10-15 years after San Andreas, could be a continuation of all of it.

Los Santos, San Andreas, Vinewood are all cities involved.
