question about updated rosters from online to your game...?

I thought you would be able to save the online updated roster you have to get to be able to play online / but nothing seems to translate when I try to load from my load -save-settings screen....can someone tell me how -where etc ?

Ram this is what I do soon as I get the game

Download the roster update, save it of course. Then I will go to my team's depth chart online, set it like I want it to be then save the file. Then I go delete the stock roster file that came with the game. After that, each time I load the game the online custom roster loads with the depth chart changes.

This will remain until the next roster update comes out, then I repeat.

If you want to make sure you get the correct one saved, delete your rosters before loading the game. Go to the depth chart section of online, say yes or whatever to d/l the latest roster. Then get out of Madden Online completely, press L3 or select to do a quick save and you'll get the prompt that warns you if you make roster edits you'll have to download rosters again before playing online.
