    I was lent the book but I am waiting to see the movie first. Wife and I are going to see it today. My parents are taking all the kids for a sleepover today since it's a PA day at school. I took the day off and it's a date day for us!

    I don't have anything against Star Wars, I'm just not into it. I think it's better than Star Trek though although I like the previous 2 Star Trek movies more than all 6 Star Wars movies.

    Marcus Theatres has $5 movies for every movie on Tuesdays. To my surprise, there were still seats for Star Wars in their fancy Dreamlounger auditorium, so I snagged two for the Tuesday after release for $10.

    That's why you may love the new Star Wars. I was never a big Star Trek guy but Abrams took that series and made two great movies that felt great in a blockbuster way and not in a niche way. He's now in charge of Star Wars and if he does the same thing this movie will Smash records.

    I think they said they had 6 million ticket sales online alone on that period.

    I wasn't even planning on going until a few weeks after release, but getting two tickets the Tuesday after for $10 I figured why not. The trailer was really good.
