Lots of good movies this month. The kids movie with Animals this weekend, Star Trek and Bourne. Ice age has like their 17th movie too. Crazy how that thing keeps going.

It definitely is something new for him. A lot of his movies have some sort of 'twist' (Memento, Inception) so I wonder if this will as well.

Saw Dr. strange with my son. It was really good and the 3D was good too. Some very cool special effects scenes. I'm partial to Origin stories and this was good. The movie wasn't too weird and actually had a Matrix type of feel to it. Some humour too. I'm not a fan of the over the top Marvel movies like Avengers where it's just too many characters fighting all the time in a weak plot. This was one of the best Marvel movies lately.

If you like Sci-fi movies and like having to think about what you're watching, Arrival is INCREDIBLE.

Don't read anything about it. Don't watch any of the trailers. Just go see it. Best movie I've seen in 2016.

I definitely want to see that. Heard it was a good sci fi.

Am I the only one waiting for this Assassin's Creed movie to drop? After Civil War, it's my most anticipated movie for 2016.

No, I'm gonna see it when it comes out as well. Not anxiously awaiting it, but it looks cool. I'm not a fan of Assassin's Creed though. Couple be an interesting movie though.

I hope Rogue One is good. Kind of hoping they give it a different feel. I thought JJ Abrams did a decent job with the first one but this is a chance to do something a bit different in the SW universe.

The hype is so real with Rogue One. I can't freakin' wait. It's a story that's never been told before (as far as I know, but I could be wrong about that) so it's really damn cool that they are going with something completely original that isn't based on a novelization. Hopefully that means that do something really cool with it.

I still think it involves stealing the plans to the Death Star. It has to be attached to the lore somehow but a whole new cast of characters on hopefully a different adventure is appealing.

Yeah, I don't know much about the movie but I know it's about stealing the Death Star plans and giving them to Leia. It's a bridge between Episodes 3 and 4.

Yes, it's a bridge between the two movies (I think you mean Episode 6 and 7 btw ), but it has the ability to do what it wants with that. It just had an idea of where it starts and ends, but it's free to do new things between those two points, which is what I'm exciting.
