Only because of all the transfers the past two years.

Michigan smokes OSU for academics. I posted the rankings in another thread just the other day here.

A high school buddy of mine went to Ole Miss. Definitely a FUN school to get an "education" at.

"The U" at #7 is somewhat surprising. I know Miami is a good school but I figured the football team would bring them down oh I don't know say 50 notches.

I can only verify that they were in 2002 (when I visited my friend down there for about a week).

I started wondering why Florida State wasn't in the bottom ten, and then I did a search and they're at 104

We really got screwed by Coach O recruiting players that couldn't make the grade. Since Nutt has came in the Football team has not lost anyone due to grades. I can't speak for the basketball team cause they have guys leaving early and transfering, and I don't know how that counts.

Don't recall on early draft entry guys, but transfers kill your rating.

Georgia 15th, kind of surprising to me.

I can confirm the earlier notions about Ole Miss girls. I lived in Mississippi for a little while. The same thing can be said of most SEC schools... I think I enjoy that more than watching football at Georgia games.

Of course that seems to be true of all schools as UNCC had some pretty good looking ones... yet we don't play football.

Yea but at Ole Miss and at the grove it's like a runway show with girls. They are all dressed up and mostly wearing heels and walking around with a nice tall glass in their hands. They will give you a nice, "Hotty Toddy" and then... "Can I blow you?" lol j/k. Well no I'm not there are a couple that do that.
