Welcome aboard my College Hoops "2k11" dynasty. I will be reporting the progress of my Duke dynasty. All suggestions/comments will be greatly appreciated!

DUKE UNIVERSITY
Duke University is a private research university located in Durham, North Carolina. Founded by Methodists and Quakers in the present-day town of Trinity in 1838, the school moved to Durham in 1892. In 1924, tobacco industrialist James Buchanan Duke established The Duke Endowment, prompting the institution to change its name in honor of his deceased father, Washington Duke.
The University is organized into two undergraduate, ten graduate and professional schools, and seven institutes. In its 2010 edition, U.S. News & World Report ranked the university's undergraduate program 10th among national universities, while ranking the medical, law, and business schools among the top 14 in the United States. Duke University ranked 14th in the 2009 THES - QS World University Rankings.
Besides academics, research, and athletics, Duke is also well known for its sizable campus and Collegiate Gothic architecture, especially the Duke Chapel. The forests surrounding parts of the campus belie the University's proximity to downtown Durham. Duke's 8,610 acres contain three contiguous campuses in Durham as well as a marine lab in Beaufort. Construction projects have updated both the freshmen-populated Georgian-style East Campus and the main Gothic-style West Campus, as well as the adjacent Medical Center over the past five years.
In the 2008 fiscal year, research expenditures surpassed $766 million. The first working demonstration of an invisibility cloak was unveiled by Duke researchers in October 2006. In 2002 and 2006, three students were named Rhodes Scholars, a number surpassed by only one other university both years. Overall, Duke has produced 42 Rhodes Scholars, including 21 in the past 15 years. In August 2005, Duke established a partnership with the National University of Singapore to develop a joint medical program, which had its first entering class in 2007.
Duke's student body consists of 6,400 undergraduates and 7,262 graduate and professional students. The university has an "historical, formal, on-going, and symbolic" affiliation with the United Methodist Church, but is considered a non-sectarian institution.
In the 2010 U.S. News & World Report ranking of undergraduate programs at doctoral granting institutions, Duke ranked 10th and finished 8th in undergraduate teaching quality. In the past decade, U.S. News & World Report has placed Duke as high as 3rd and as low as 10th. Also, The Chronicle of Higher Education rankings puts Duke 7th among the nation's universities. Duke was ranked 11th best by PBA top 100 colleges,and 10th world wide by the 2010 World University Rankings top 200 universities in the world. Duke was ranked the 14th-best university in the world in 2009 both by the THE - QS World University Rankings (known from 2010 onwards as the QS World University Rankings) and by Newsweek. Duke was ranked 31st best globally by Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2009, focusing on quality of scientific research and number of Nobel Prizes. The Wall Street Journal ranked Duke 6th (5th among universities) in its "feeder" rankings in 2006, analyzing the percentage of undergraduates that enroll in what it considers the top 5 medical, law, and business schools. Also, Duke ranks very high on the Center for Measuring University Performance. The most recent report in 2009 puts Duke at 6th behind Columbia University, MIT, Stanford University, Harvard University, and the University of Pennsylvania.As one of the premier universities in the East Coast of the United States, Duke attracts many National Merit Scholars. In 2005, Duke enrolled 117 National Merit Scholars, the 6th university in rank to have enrolled so many.

DUKE BASKETBALL
The Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team is one of the premier programs in the nation. They are the fourth-winningest men's basketball program of all-time and have had great success over the past 30 years under coach Mike Krzyzewski. Duke has won 4 NCAA championships (fifth all-time) and appeared in 10 Championship Games (second all-time) and 15 Final Fours (third all-time), while maintaining an NCAA-best .750 NCAA tournament winning percentage. Eleven players have been named the National Player of the Year, while 71 players have been drafted in the NBA Draft. In the 2008–2009 NBA season, Duke had more former players on NBA rosters than any other school. Additionally, Duke has had 55 All-Americans and 14 Academic All-Americans. Duke has won the most Atlantic Coast Conference championships with 18. Duke is second, behind only UCLA, in total weeks ranked as the number one team in the nation by the AP with 121 weeks.

CAMERON INDOOR STADIUM
Cameron Indoor Stadium is an indoor arena located on the West Campus of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. It is home to the Duke Blue Devils men's and women's basketball teams, the women's volleyball team, and the men's wrestling team. The plans for the stadium were drawn up in 1935 by basketball coach Eddie Cameron. The stadium was designed by Julian Abele, who had studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, France. The same architectural firm that built the Palestra was brought in to build the new stadium. The arena was dedicated on January 6, 1940, having cost $400,000. At the time, it was the largest gymnasium in the country south of the Palestra at the University of Pennsylvania. Originally called "Duke Indoor Stadium", it was renamed for Cameron on January 22, 1972.
The building originally included seating for 8,800, though standing room was sufficient to ensure that 9,500 could fit in on a particularly busy day. Then, as now, Duke students were allocated a large number of the seats, including those in the lower sections directly alongside the court. Renovations in 1987–1988 removed the standing room areas, added an electronic scoreboard and display over center court, wood paneling, brass railings and student seats, bringing capacity to 9,314, though now there is sufficient standing to ensure a total of 10,000 could fit into Cameroon Indoor on a very busy day. For high profile games, students are known to pack in as many as 1,600 into the student sections, designed for a maximum of 1,100. Prior to the 2002–2003 basketball season, air conditioning units were installed in Cameron for the first time as a response to health and odor concerns for players and fans alike. Prior to the 2008-09 season, a new video scoreboard replaced the electronic board over center court. Before the 2009-10 season, additional changes were made, including installing LED ribbon boards to the front of the press table and painting the upper seats Duke blue.
The students and fans are known as "Cameron Crazies" for their support of the team and loud cheering that has been recorded as high as 121.3 dB, which is louder than a power saw at 3' or a jackhammer. For access to major games, including those against the University of North Carolina, students reside in tents for months in an area outside of Cameron known as "Krzyzewskiville". The hardwood floor was dedicated and renamed Coach K Court in November 2000. Sports Illustrated ranked it fourth on its list of the top 20 sporting venues of the 20th century, and USA Today referred to it as "the toughest road game in the ACC".

Man, you are really making me want to go out and buy this game again... God damn March Madness...
LOL yeah I LOVE this game! Its one of the few I kept over the years. I got that "itch" too recently and sure enough someone went out there and made pretty decent rosters and I was hooked.
As a fellow chiser, I'm really disappointed you never updated this. How'd it go?
I've honestly slipped out of my 2K playing with TW and MLB The Show and NCAA taking up most of my time recently. This is a slow moving dynasty and I'll try to get it back up and running here at some point.
Right now is just really hectic as I am in the process of moving 1/2 across the country (from Rhode Island to Houston, TX) and trying to find a new job. Hopefully, my job and living situation will come into picture in the next week or so leaving me more time for gaming and I can get this 2K chise going again.
It's not like there's gonna be a new version of this game to hold you back
