NCAA 12 to be released on PC? UPDATE: No PC version

Take it with a grain of salt because well its from the examiner but Kevin Mcguire said in his article that it will be making its first appearance on the PC since '97

NCAA Football '12 will be released on July 8, 2011. It will be available on the Sony PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and Microsoft Xbox 360. For the first time since the 1998 edition, the game will be made available on the PC as well.

I'd be very surprised if it were on the PC again. I'd be mildly surprised if it were on the PS2 as well.

He seems to have pulled all of his game info from Wikipedia. He also has the wrong release date as well, saying 7/8 and not 7/12 - which is what the franchise page says on Wikipedia as well. I'd put zero stock into it.

Man JB you are being nicer than I am. I would put the chance at slim to none with slim having fell into a black hole never to be seen again. I just do not see them doing this, I think they produce one more year of PS2 and Xbox before producing a PC version.

There's probably a better chance of some sort of Facebook game (where you pay for coins/DLC) than a full-fledged PC game. Even with that, I'd say there's not much of a chance.

Considering the amount of effort Tiburon would need to put in to make a PC version, I would think that they'd be flaunting it so much that it would be obvious. That's not something you invest heavily in and then "surprise" people with.
