    Yeah I knew I was going to have to find a new one. My current firm only has offices in New England so when my wife matched at M.D. Anderson I knew I would have to find a new job. It's not to the point of "panic mode" yet. I have had one interview (I have a call back/2nd interview with that firm in Houston on Friday) and I have another interview/meeting with another firm the week after.

    My biggest "problem" is that my application for admission to the Texas bar without examination (my 5th state) is still pending and with allot of firms I am of no value if I cannot appear in court, attend depositions, etc...

    However, the firm I am having a 2nd interview with has a pretty "national" practice and they were interested in me mostly b/c of all of the states I am still licensed in (Missouri; Illinois; Massachusetts; Rhode Island and eventually Texas). REALLY hoping that interview turns into an offer but I am not the type to count my chickens before the eggs hatch so no sense purchasing video games when I MAY be unemployed in a little over a month.

    Here's an interesting little thing I came across about L.A. Noire.

    By the numbers: Rockstar Games' LA Noire has nearly 2,200 pages of scripted dialog and over 400 characters.

    I'm pretty pumped for this game. Rockstar usually nails everything.

    EDIT: Also I'm pumped about the 15$ credit at Amazon I'll use on NCAA!

    Question - with PSN being down are we going to be able to download the content needed to play the game? Usually when I pop a new game in it always downloads something.

    Yes, some have reported that you're still able to get patches for various games, though that's obviously assuming a patch will be necessary.

    I never even got past the 4th or 5th chapter. That's one series I've grown completely tired of. Besides, beating those games on Veteran is such a pain in the ass.

    Anyway, I'm excited about L.A. Noire. Between this, Brink, and inFAMOUS 2...I should be getting NCAA '12 for free. Of course, that's the one game I can get every year the Friday before release, so that creates a dilemma. Fork over $65 and get the game 5 days early or pay nothing and get it on release day? Decisions, decisions...

    Well I don't think I've ever had a new game where it didn't download something when I 1st installed. I wonder if anyone has purchased a new game since it's been down.
