I remember when Nebraska used to be good at football.

I am starting to think the area codes on the Nebraska helmets are secretly clues to how many yards Nebraska will give up each game.

Sad, but funny and somewhat accurate.

Thanks for getting this up this week Cdj. This week has been crazy busy and I completely absolutely forgot to post it. I didn't even remember to make my college pick em picks until like 1 or 2am this morning, lol.

Was just about to post that. How far have you fallen wen fast food chains are getting in on the smack talk.

"I told them I honestly believe this is going to be the bottom right here,"
    Looks at schedule

    @ Wiscy
    @ Ohio St
    @ Iowa

Might not be at rock bottom yet.

I had the same thought, bdoughty. I don't think the anchor has hit the bottom of the ocean yet. Heck, home losses to Purdue or Bethune-Cookman would be worse, for example.

EDIT - It actually could get worse yet tonight. If my math/stat-checking is correct, a UTEP win at home vs NMSU this evening would give Nebraska sole possession of the longest current home losing streak (six) and longest current FBS overall losing streak (seven). That's entering Jayhawk/Browns level ineptitude.

Not a ton of exciting games this week, but #25 BYU losing at home to McNeese State 3-0 early 2nd. TCU-Texas pretty much even in the 3rd. Old Dominion might get the biggest W, up seven late in the 4th vs VA Tech.

NMSU-UTEP is my game of choice for tonight to see if Nebraska ends up being the worst team in FBS (streak-wise).

ODU with the HUGE Upset. 0-3, playing with a backup QB. Could have taken a knee to run out the clock, runs for a 30+ yard TD instead.

They might make an appearance in the Bottom Ten next week and not as one of those joke #5, ranked team got upset slots.

OU and Army are not on TV but Army seems to think very little of our defense tying the game near the end of the first quarter.

What an upset! Way to go Old Dominion! Their first ever win against a Power 5 school.

Damn! Oklahoma sadly survives Army 28-21 in overtime.

I wish this game had been on TV, it would have been a good one to watch.

I am glad it was not on TV. It would not have been a good one to watch. The only solace in watching the score being scrolled on the ticker was Texas Tech putting on a clinic in Stillwater and blowing out the Pokes. OU has to go to Lubbock and Morgantown. Two teams that looked great today.

To be fair, we did not lose the game. Unlike another service academy that lost to a winless SMU team. Since we are all poking bears.

Yeah, I'm still shocked Navy lost that. I thought they were going to pull it out, especially when SMU went for the 2 point try in OT. But, SMU has played Navy close the last year or two, so I'm not surprised it was another back and forth battle to the very end. This definitely isn't the Navy of old. They still have good players, but this won't be an 8 or 9 win year like they seem to usually be able to pull off. Right now I'm just hoping for 6-7 wins and a bowl game, because things could end up a lot uglier with some of the tough games remaining on their schedule.

I wonder if Nebraska regrets joining the Big 10. Did they recruit heavily out of Texas and Oklahoma in the past? Do those kids not want to join Nebraska because they don’t play in those areas any more?

Fun tidbit: Duke and Kentucky are in the same Football AP Poll for the first time since 1957.
