Nebraska takes the lead. Running that ball down Colorado's throat. That is the Nebraska team I like to see.

Purdue hype has completely deflated after losing to directional Michigan. Kansas winning big on the road against directional Michigan. Texas fans may want to give Charlie Strong another look. Nobody should be giving Kevin Sumlin another HC job after he gets canned by Arizona. Notre Dame getting more competition from Ball St than they saw from Michigan in week 1.

Meanwhile, the Frost era gets off to a rocky start in the land of corn and beef.

Yeah, they still have plenty of work to do in Lincoln and clock management would be high up on the list but they will turn it around. A&M was so close to pulling the upset on Clemson. Smooth's Navy team came back to beat the Memphis team I had picked to win the conference

Is Texas back now? Giving up 21 points in the second half to Tulsa and squeaking out a win at home. That would be a resounding NOPE. The USC/Texas games is going to be a shitshow of how not to play offense.

Speaking of USC, it's another great year of watching Stanford make USC its bitch.

Now for some Pac 12 After Dark! We'll see if Arizona State can knock off Michigan State after Utah State came so close to doing so last week. Also got the second half of Cal and BYU going on.

And still have the second half of Boise State and UConn still to finish tonight. Lots of late night football.

And speaking of Navy, God they are going to give me a heart attack some day. Can't do crap on offense all game, then reel off a couple touchdowns in the fourth quarter to make a sudden comeback, and then have to make a stop on fourth and four inside their own territory. Thank God for the weather monsooning all day. The wet conditions contributed to most of Memphis' turnovers, and it kept Memphis' air attack from ever really getting going. Without the rain, Navy probably gets their ass handed to them by 20+.

Meanwhile, Kentucky actually beats Florida for the first time since 1986. The longest active losing streak against one opponent is no more. Shit, I wasn't even born yet the last time Kentucky beat Florida.

Damnit. Samford was leading 26-21 in the fourth quarter, but Florida State ends up escaping the upset 36-26. I was really hoping Samford would shock the hell out of them.

I knew Mark Stoops would eventually take down Florida. Even Mike is making OU's defense worth watching so far.
