    1) This is the first season I’ve felt optimism about the season. It feels good to know that we’ll be more competitive against the middle of the pack teams. Being consistently mediocre is a goal at the moment.

    2) If you remember, we lost the very first game of the dynasty to an FCS team so I’m ecstatic that we not only won but applied some foot to ass. I’m not taking it as a sign of being a powerhouse but it appears that the process is turning the corner.

    Oh yeah, I forgot your first ever game was a loss to a FCS team. That slipped my mind, lol.

    Well, now you know for a fact you can manhandle the FCS teams. And you have what appears to be a fairly favorable non-conference schedule, so I'm hoping to see a couple more wins here in the coming weeks.

    The pass defense has been getting absolutely SCORCHED the last 2 games and the offense has not been giving the ball up with ridiculous turnovers. We lost to Kansas with 2 terrible interceptions late in the 4th an in OT. The NMSU game was just embarrassing. They got more yards and points in that game than in their 2 previous games combined. It left me utterly disgusted.
