Damnit, damnit, damnit, damnit, damnit, damnit, damnit!

I had a perfect game going. Bottom of the ninth, 2 outs, pitching to pinch hitter Franchy Cordero. ONE OUT away from my first ever perfect game in MLB The Show. I could taste it!

Got a first pitch strike with a fastball up and outside. Second fastball missed high for ball one. Tried the slider, missed outside for ball two. Went back to the fastball, let it get away a bit too far outside for ball three. 3-1 count, tried to throw a lowish change-up to either get a swing and maybe groundball or get it taken for a strike, instead the goddamn pitch goes low for ball 4.

That jackass Cordero walks to first base and my first ever perfect game goes up in absolute flames with two outs in the ninth.

Edit - Well, I guess it wasn't a total lost cause. After getting the "pitcher is tired" message on the very next pitch, ended up walking Manuel Margot in 6 pitches, before getting Freddy Galvis to fly out to center on my 106th pitch of the game to at least finish the game with a no-hitter, only the second or third no-hitter of my MLB The Show career.

I still would of rather had the perfect game though.

Yeah, I had to save my franchise and quit MLB for the night after that one. I had hoped to play the fourth and final game of my series against the Padres after that game, but after blowing a perfect game with a 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th walk, yeah, I needed to change games for the rest of the evening.

I'll get a nice break since I'll be busy with Bethesda's press conference in 45 minutes tonight and Sony's tomorrow night, so I won't be doing a ton of game playing until Tuesday.
