NL Wildcard Game? What about the start of the NHL season?

    Let's Go Pens!

Alabama @ Texas A&M has some potential. The Aggies are 4-1, should be undefeated if not for PAC-10 After Dark.

    Spoiler: show
    Alabama 42 Texas A&M 10

Not a baseball fan so I am watching Ark St and G Southern. I think having only ONE team in the Sun Belt Conference with a winning record (Troy) does not help the ratings for this game. Still remember all those titles won in the FCS back in the 80's and 90's for Georgia St. I imagine someone else on the forum might recall one of those championships.

With the Avalanche most likely a shoo-in for the worst record in the NHL this season, I'm trying not to think about hockey.

Had a Bye Week to prepare.
Playing the 3rd string QB and the Starting LB who used to be the QB.
What else does it take to show that you need to fire Mike *&^^%%%&&^% Stoops.

It was good to get a little laugh. Though points are lost for using the state flag.

Here's a video of them actually planting the flag, truly planting it in the ground.

All those Texas losing to Kansas jokes led to the ISU upset.

LSU might get the W in The Swamp. Tigers driving to milk clock, preserve the win. Outside of Alabama & Georgia, that conference is a mess.

Unless it was Mike Stoops making those jokes, I am pretty sure it was Mike Stoops play-calling and our secondary at fault. Karma exists but a 31 point underdog upset in Norman is a stretch for a few jokes at the Longhorns expense. At least I know how you Cornhuskers fans feel on weekly basis.

To be fair to the color guy in the E Michigan/Toledo game. He is having to call E Michigan/Toledo. Had to spend a few nights in Toledo.

A&M hung in better than I expected. I kept flipping between the Pirate/Nike U, KSU/Texas and Michigan/Michigan St. The KSU/Texas game was fun to watch, even if Texas won. I have no clue what was being played in Ann Arbor, it was memorizing to watch two teams trying to be more conservative than the other. A 5+ turnover ratio helps make up for a lack of first downs. Love the success Washington St is having, a winning Pirate is the best Pirate. More media attention = more fat little girlfriend remarks and no Craig James to ruin it.

So far this year it seems like it is Clemson, Alabama, and then everyone else. Though, I'm not sure they are completely unbeatable, just that there's a lot of teams in the proverbial second tier.

Nebraska played with & at times outplayed Wisconsin for two+ quarters, but still got rolled. NU needs to win 3 of 4 against Purdue, Minnesota, Northwestern, & Iowa (or upset Ohio State or Penn State) to be bowl eligible. Anything less and I'd guess Riley might be on his way out.

The bad thing is the color guy was Jay Feely. I have a feeling he knows well what a missed or a made field goal looks like.
