Vandy has not beaten Alabama on the field since 1984 and have not played Bama since 2011.

    This is the year.

    Les Miles

Has a son on the team.
    Did the No Illinois/Nebraska game.
Referred to the Nebraska team as "We" during the broadcast.

Season defining game for Arkansas State this week traveling to SMU. Both teams are trying to climb the G5 ranks. Should be a high octane offensive matchup with Blake Anderson vs Chad Morris. Bet the over.

I actually meant the AD hire, but if things keep on the current path, they'll be looking for a coach in December too.

There's a good number of fans putting Miles on their wish list, but I'm not in that camp. His talent lucked them into a lot of wins in his last few years at LSU and his loyalty to Cam Cameron as OC + lack of playmaking QB really did him in. Though, if he learned his lesson, maybe he would be a good choice.

Trev Alberts (UNO AD) & Scott Frost (UCF) seem to be the bettors favorites right now. I'm not so keen on Alberts as AD, but would put Frost on my list for a potential HC.

I hope Trev Alberts is a lot better at AD than he was an analyst. That guy was the very definition of "Homer." Didn't he get rid of Wrestling and Football at UNO? Lied about how much both sports were losing? If I was the new AD, I would dump Men's Basketball. Just admit that it is one of the great failures in college athletics and that the money would be better served upgrading the Hockey team as you have moved into a hockey heavy environment.

I could not say if Frost is the best choice for the job but he would be up there.

Alberts was very shady in how he axed the football and wrestling programs from UNO. IIRC, the wrestling team had no clue there was trouble and found out the program was gone as they returned home from winning the national championship. He then moved hoops to D-1 thinking they would be mercenaries, getting big paydays at power schools. While the team is actually good (for the Summit League), AFAIK UNO athletics is still in the red. Some articles/comments tonight are saying they are down quite a bit and that Alberts misled (lied?) about what FB & WR brought in to the university. Quite a few Husker fans seem to be opposed to him as the potential hire. Maybe Dave Boren?

I don't know if true, but there were rumors at the time UNO added a D-1 hockey program that NU gave their word they would never add it as an official sport. (They have a club level program; I think that's the right term I am looking for.) I doubt NU ever adds hockey despite it being popular with some of the other B1G schools.

One of the rare Democrats I can tolerate, almost sad to see him retire but I am hoping his replacement is not a former politician from either party. I was just kidding about Hockey, just found another reason to make fun of Cornhusker basketball. There might be a higher chance of Nebraska getting Boren over Nebraska winning a NCAA Tournament game within the next 10 years.

You know it crossed your mind.

Virginia laying the wood to Boise St on the Smurf Turf. Molly McGrath eating a potato might have been the highlight so far.

Barely missed on my Vandy prediction.

Lots of great games on right now. Okie Light playing like Okie Light.

Can Nebraska hire Scott Frost in the middle of the season?

Stick a fork in Florida State, they're done. Lost star QB for season and now 0-2 after sucking it up against NC State.

Last time they went 0-2, they won the next 10 games. Husker fans might remember that team.

Our defense. UTSA held Baylor to fewer points and it is still the 2nd qtr.

    No habla.

Huskers take care of Rutgers 27-17. They might be the worst team NU faces all season. Next up they play Friday night at Illinois.

Should have known Okie St was going to lose. Everytime I think they may be legit, they lose.

    Dear Pollsters,

Please remove Oklahoma from the Top 5 teams in the country.
