Pretty tame week outside of Clemson at Louisville.

The biggest question this week is why has ESPN not fired Joey Galloway for picking Baylor to win the Big 12 this season? Also why is ESPN Gameday going to be in Times Square next week? Did Syracuse get good? No. Not that I have watched it in years or give two shits about who Corso picks to win. Go to an FCS school again or Boulder for the Washington game.

And the Huskers spend $820,000 to get beaten by a MAC team and booed by their own fans.

Remember when Riley was hired and I said it was a bad choice.

OU defense can't stop the run. Can't stop the Tulane running game.

UT Florida game has been fun in the 4th quarter. Appears to be going to OT.

Forget OT Tennessee just went full Rocky Flop and gave up a 65 yard TD on the final play.

NU also paid NIU $1.027M when they had to cancel the scheduled 2016 match-up in Soldier Field after B1G went to a nine-game schedule. So in reality, they paid about $2M for the loss today.

It's not looking good. We have to find a way to get rid of our Steve Pederson 2.0 Athletic Director first, though. He's going to get all of our programs into the dumps before he is done.

Ouch, that's even worse! That is one hell of an expensive loss!

The Texas/USC game left more questions than answers. It was fun to watch, outside of the triple clap Texas requires for the center to snap the damn ball and Herman blowing bubbles on the sidelines.

Gotta give a hat's off to Texas for their performance tonight. I expected a 56-3 loss but their defense was very good and opportunistic tonight. If they had any O, they would have walked all over the Troj-Anns.

That was a fun game to watch.

Quite the futile stat about Riley. Nebraska has started a season 1-2 just three times in the last 56 seasons. Two of those three times have come under Riley.

Don't know why you would think the score would be that. USC isn't that great and Strong was building a good defense. Texas just didn't want to give him time.

He was building a great defense, that lost to Kansas. Three straight losing seasons. Another Charlie Strong apologist.

The line was -16.5 for USC, so even Vegas thought it would not be close. Throwing in Texas losing at home to Maryland and giving up 51 did not help.

If at first you do not succeed...

Legal? Probably not from what I have read but they gave him the 3 points after much discussion.

I literally changed the channel planning to turn back for overtime and missed that ending.

Mind blowing stat from last week.

    https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/se...ppi-state-3-0/

Kentucky, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt are all undefeated at 3-0 for the first time in over a century.

It has been 106 years, to be precise. The last time that particular trio of teams was unbeaten three weeks into the season was 1906.
