The better q would be outside of the Canadian teams and a handful of northern US teams, how many are making money? Real money, not on paper theoretical profits.

Plus, Rugby players actually know how to tackle.
If they'd show the damn games on TV more and actually EXPLAIN how shit works, I'd MOST DEFINITELY watch it more.
...meh I'll stick with Football I watch on Saturdays and Sundays
It's a massive option play combined with fumble dog piles, scores require actually touching the ball down in the end-zone rather than just crossing the goalline, and if the ball goes out a bounds it's thrown in, kind of like in soccer, except they raise other players up to catch in on the throw.
That's the basics.
I imagine we'll see it a lot more with the run up to Rugby Sevens at the next Olympics.
But since USA sucks at Rugby ... maybe not.
Last I heard, NBCSN was in the driver's seat to take the English Premier League away from Fox Soccer. If that's a go, who knows? Then again, it may spawn into a NBC Soccer Channel. Whatever the case, I'd watch more rugby if it were accessible.
