NBA 2K Community Day

A bunch of select members are playing the game at 2K. Should see some cool videos although next Monday the NDA stops and will see some good mainstream news and videos. Here is a clip of the new speed and acceleration of someone like John Wall.

If you are a big slow center. You may not want to always crash the glass or you will burn thru your turbo trying to get back on defense. Don’t mess around vs athletic bigs as their run cycles are usually faster than your sprint.

You can choose your body type in #NBA2K20. The body types are compact, slight, solid, defined, and built.

I should note the body type you choose does impact your physical attributes.

You have around ~439 attribute upgraded to play with. The more "points" you put into a categories the higher the cap can go. This also lets get more badge levels in that category. There are other factors that affect the cap such as height, weight, wingspan, and position.

But height always has benefits not related to attributes in 2k

Demo drops August 21 as a reminder and no NBA teams. But we can go to University.

2KU WILL be in the demo, as well. Featuring tutorials for all the gameplay features/mechanics (similar to past demos).

Blow by frequency is much different in the final game than it was at Community Day, and even the demo. I'm happy with where it is right now, but it's easy to tweak if the community feels like there are too many or too few once you all get in the lab.

#NBA2K20 We're also (finally) heavily nerfing the impact of a defender when he/she is at a height mismatch when contesting at the rim. Apologies this took so long to get in.

One of the first things I recommend doing when you get #NBA2K20, go to Features>>Settings and turn Shot Feedback to All Shots. Very helpful tool on defense to see how well each shot is contested. By default, you only get feedback on shots you take.
