MS' green just doesn't look as good as blue. Generally speaking I find green ugly. Doesn't mean anything but I do like the PS4 covers better as a result.
That looks nice but I don't see it as a massive upgrade, especially since the game play camera will be zoomed out. At this point the real cpu AI and game play remains an unknown. Will there be a next gen demo at E3?
The one thing that definitely stood out was the hand fighting in the trenches. OL/DL was built from scratch I guess.
I think what is going to stand out is player movement and interaction.
I would anticipate the ol' robo run with all arms moving in unison , and heads cocked at awkward angles should be a thing of the past.
Madden 25 on nexgen was not fully available. Only run plays with AP.

Yep was going to say OS tweeted same thing -- no cameras. If this thing is launching this year they have a LONG way to go. I wonder if a full owner mode etc... is even going to make this one.
OS tweeting no camera allowed in/around any of EA's next-gen titles.
Madscientist said next gen Madden was great but I need to see cpu AI. Just running with AP doesn't show that.
On a segment with IGN today, it was announced that Madden 25 (Next-gen) will be full-featured.
Least impressive was Madden NFL 25 which didn’t stand out as a huge leap over the current generation version which had been played earlier in the day. Before jumping to judgment keep in mind this comes from early in development and featured all 22 players on field but in a practice environment with only running plays as Adrian Peterson. Enhancements to the blocking were the focus here but it seemed like the current gen version had already showed a lot of it and the physics and animations were somewhat familiar. Madden just didn’t “pop” the way the other next-gen games on display did.

PS4 looked vey similar for IE but line play looked much more fluid and dynamic.
Actual next gen gameplay footage, I kid you not.

just....not very impressed with this footage.
It's early...but....yea.....meh
Lost of time though. We will see.
Well one thing to remember, this next gen isn't as LARGE of a step up. By the time we get the final version, all those extra bells and whistles might be in there, or mabye not until next year.
I am curious as to how Ea/Tiburon defines "fully featyred?" Does that mean that it has lots of features, all of the features the ps3 version does or a new set of features not found within the ps3 version?
So how many people are going to pick up Madden 25 AND Madden 25 for PS4/XBOX 1???
I'd love to say I wont, but I'd almost bet I do.
No to next gen this year. Maybe next year.
I'll be really tempted especially if it truly is "fully featured".
I'm getting Madden 25 for PS3 for Sunday Ticket. Might just sell the game on eBay right away and use that money to preorder it for PS4 :D

Read this from Steve at OS.
Sounds good.Quote:
All features from current gen will make its way to next-gen. In addition to that, Next-Gen Madden will have smarter commentary than current gen with some other things up their sleeve that they will announce at a later date.
I read somewhere in all the media coverage of E3 that Madden 25 on PS4/XB1 will allow you to import draft classes from NCAA 14.
Any truth to this?
I don't think it will happen as the PS4 is not backwards compatible. However, if we could transfer rosters over that would be phenomenal (assuming we are allowed to in Canada... :fp: j/k)
They could theoretically do it with the PS3/PS4 by allowing you to copy the save file off to a USB and then import it. It would probably be quite difficult doing it that way though because then Madden PS4 would have to be able to decipher NCAA PS3 save files. The other way would be if they allowed you to somehow upload to a website or something, it parses the PS3 file and then the PS4 could download it.
My bet is that they end up skipping draft class import on next gen for this year.

Can't see myself buying both of them
Definitely want the next gen version, but all of my leagues will be on the PS3 version.
So likely to hold off on next gen unless I get a bonus or something at work, or sell my other games on PS3.
A preview but nothing really new.
