Definitely want to see that.
Damn. That honestly could be the first movie, in about five years, that I would actually be willing to get price raped by the local movie theater to go see.
I HATE baseball, but it looks interesting. Probably won't see it in the theaters though.

Saw this trailer... don't know how I feel about it.

Stop with remakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If nothing else, I hate that they used "normal" voices including celebrity voices for the smurfs. The smurfs didn't have normal voices.
We have a movie review thread, which started getting talk of movies coming up in it, so I figure we'll start a thread to talk about upcoming movies that aren't epic enough to have it's own thread.
With that said, Rise of the Planet of the Apes looks pretty good.
I'm confused.... I don't know where to post :fp:
Anyway - Yes I went to see Harry Potter yesterday - the Previews rocked. Dark Knight Rises on the big screen looked amazing, couple other of note.....
The Planet of the Apes ones looks real interesting and they had the trailer for the new Sherlock Holmes which looked good too.
Posted the trailer for Sherlock Holmes in the appropriate thread ;)

It's simple, you have a YouTube video, post the trailer in that thread. If you want to just talk about the movie....come here :D
I never watched the first Sherlock Holmes, was it good? They kinda stretched the character with Downey, so I was hesitant to see it.
Apes looks really good for some reason. Was this movie ever done back in the 60's when they first did them?
I liked the 1st Holmes, the 2nd looks like a lot more action though.
At first when I saw the Apes movie I was turned off, same old story, they find some miracle cure to some disease and it back fires and the world is on the verge of extinction. But the more of the trailer I saw it does look pretty good, nice little twist with the ape learning and releasing his fellow apes.
I don't remember this particular story line but I wasn't huge into the planet of the apes
I don't care for Downey Jr at all, but the first Sherlock Holmes was QUITE good.
Here's a hint with the Planet of the Apes.... the apes get out and enslave humanity!
There, I just saved you $20.
Hah Tommy, I was just going to merge the two threads :D good work.
So does this occur before or after Rise of the Planet of the Apes?
