Here are some of this week's NBA storylines, and how they affect player ratings in NBA LIVE 15.

It's been an ugly season in Los Angeles, as the Lakers have limped to a 5-14 start. But that hasn't stopped future Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant from doing his thing.

The Black Mamba leads the league in scoring at 26 PPG, and recently became just the fourth player to reach 32,000 career points.

Bryant's OVR rating is up a point to 89, tying him with Houston Rockets guard James Harden as the top-rated shooting guard in NBA LIVE 15.

Elsewhere in the NBA, Toronto Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan has dropped two points after struggling from the field last week.

To add insult to injury, DeRozan shot 0/8 against the Dallas Mavericks before leaving with an injury. The loss of a DeRozan is a big blow to the red-hot Raptors, who are off to a 15-4 start.

Out west, the 16-2 Golden State Warriors continued their red-hot start behind the play of early MVP candidate Stephen Curry.

Curry's Off the Dribble Rating increases two points, making him the deadliest player in NBA LIVE 15 off the dribble.
