• NBA Live 15 - Ratings Reveal

EA SPORTS has revealed the top rated players by position and specific categories as well as team rankings in NBA LIVE 15.

No surprise - the top rated player in the game is LeBron James, followed closely by the reigning MVP Kevin Durant. The top six players in the game and their overall rating are: CLE SF LeBron James (95), OKC SF Kevin Durant (94), LAC PG Chris Paul (94), NYK SF Carmelo Anthony (92), OKC PG Russell Westbrook (91), and LAC PF Blake Griffin (91).

The game features fourteen players rated 90 overall or higher. Ratings will likely change throughout the year as roster updates are released, however the released ratings seem to indicate that the top teams used online will be Cleveland, Oklahoma City, Golden State, New York, and Houston, given their scoring and outside shooting threats.

LMFAO at Kobe being rated the #2 SG in the world. Kobe WAS great but he is a shell of his former self.

Definitely overrated, but I think that shows the weakness at that spot in the league and also that they have to cater to 'expectations' of users. Even if Kobe hasn't played much in a year plus, lots of people still think he's really good and want him to play like a star in-game.

The first post now updated with the top small forwards.

Which is what makes ratings in sports games an absolute goddamn joke the majority of the time. It's nothing but bending over to the leagues and player associations and bending over for the fans and their "expectations". Expectations of the fans and what they "want" him to play like in the game shouldn't matter a single goddamn bit towards what how he is rated in game. It's basically saying that the ratings in Madden and NBA Live are on the same level and that sham shit of a vote for the All-Star game in all of pro sports, nothing but a goddamn popularity contest, stats/actual performance be damned.

Instead of rating players how the NFLPA wants them rated or how the fans "expect" them to be rated to match their homer opinions of declining or overrated players on their favorite NBA teams, EA should try pulling the dick out of their mouth and try making logical ratings for a change.

      This

I honestly was trying to think of a better other 2 Guards that were better than him.

Even at his age and after this injury, he will come back better than those behind him. And he still plays better Defense than James Harden...

      Top 3-point shooters now added.

With the ratings revealed to date, I think it is safe to say that (in no particular order) the Cavs, Warriors, Thunder, Knicks, and Rockets will be the most used teams online.
