NCAA Football 11 TeamBuilder Site Officially Unveiled

Even though we had an early look at some of the changes to the NCAA Football 11 TeamBuilder site, it was an inadvertent leak of the site. However, EA has now officially unveiled the site which can be accessed by going to http://teambuilder.easports.com/. While, most of the changes from when we last saw the site are cosmetic, this should now allow you to create teams that will be compatible with the upcoming release of NCAA Football 11 on July 13th.

Sadly, it doesn't look like we have any more control over the rosters than we had last year. So much for redshirts and position changes

Not really any updates except for the chest text. Oh well, I love Teambuilder but I'm still ok with lack of updates. ...I do wonder if we'll get all the shoe choices once we are at the game screen. I know the TB site has only black and white but maybe its different at the team select screen?? Not a biggie. After about 2 plays I don't notice that stuff anymore.

I do have a question though...does anyone know if we still have to select 'all' to get stadium sounds to work with our TB teams?

They replaced the official link to target the NCAA11 app instead of the NCAA10 app. You can still access the NCAA10 app... there's a link at the top of the NCAA11 app.

I wish there were a way to insert TB teams into Dynasty so you could replace FCS schools on your schedule (ie if your team is playing Youngstown State IRL, you could plug them into your schedule in place of FCS Midwest or whatever).

looks like they combined(or locked) the play-styles with the playbooks. you used to be able to select the playbook, then select play style.

also it seems they made a generic playbook for each style. so you have 120 team playbooks, plus:
Multiple
One Back(there last year)
Spread(there last year)
Pro-Style
Option run(there last year)
Run and Shoot
Air Raid
Pistol
and a Run Balanced (there last year)

although it's likely similar to the ones they already had,with only the Pistol, Air Raid, and Run & Shoot being "new".

seems like the remaining Mascots that have not been announced yet are:
North Texas - Scrappy
Navy - Billy
USF - Rocky
Connecticut - Jonathan
Ohio - The Bobcat
Toledo - Rocky
Bowling Green - Freddie Falcon
Utah - Swoop

I think it makes a total of 78 mascots(46 from NCAA 10, 32 new in NCAA 11)

Still only TWO pants options? I was really hoping we would get three or four pants to go along with the tops.

I also don't see the eagle wing helmet design (old school Philadelphia Eagles). That was on a few TB wish lists last fall.

They also have Bowling Green's field art listed under 'Bowls.'

Guys heads up if you create a team and go to edit but forget to save your team will be gone for good and you will have to start over..
