• NBA LIVE 16 Game Update 1.05 Now Available

    Game update 1.05 is now available for NBA Live 16. This sizable update - around 2.6 GB - adds in the new Christmas Day jerseys and team specific Stance socks.

    The official blog from EA SPORTS indicates additional items in the patch, but no additional details were listed. Should an ensuing roster update be deployed (we expect it to be), we'll add that here.

      Just saw this. Did this fix the uniform glitch? At this point I don't want them touching the game. I've got it fine-tuned nice for me. Other than more defensive help around the rim (which isn't that bad) I'd prefer they not mess with anything anymore.

      Just played a game and everyone had their shirts on! We'll see if that was a fluke or not. I would like 5 point sliders. Makes it easier to fine tune three point shooting.

      Played two games now and no uniform glitch! There are more hands on the balls and turnovers which is good but that also leads to a negative. The CPU lunges too much in half court defence leading to easy blow byes and layups. The mid range game is better. I did see a couple layup moves I hadn't seen before although I would call them travelling lol. I don't think the CPU is any tougher. 3 point shooting is about the same, maybe easier after the previous patch which made it tougher. The CPU doesn't shoot the three well on all Star imo.

      I think defensive ratings may matter more now. It seems easier for dribble moves to beat bad defenders. Anyone else sees this? Offensive rebounding may be toned down as well.

      Synergy seems to be working well. Played the Pacers who took a lot of mid range and three pointers. Then I play the Buck's and they barely shoot the three since they are so busy attacking the basket and feeding Monroe in the post.

      It seems that Synergy is working for Big Moments, NBA Rewind, and Player/Team Stats, but not yet for accurate roster management.

      After months of having the wrong starting center for Denver (Nurkic who hasn't played one minute all season), it was corrected last week. However, this week we're back to him as the starter and I've read that some rookies who were missing through a previous update (1.03?) are gone again (IE: OU's Harrell).


      There was also a roster update along with this patch, but no notes were published. I did notice that some extremely underrated players (IE: 76ers' Covington & McConnell) were finally given improved ratings and some players with incorrect skin color were addressed (IE: Jazz's Neto).

      Cpu defenders seem to sag off more realistically now if you aren't a threat. 10-9 in my season and the East is bad. I chose a 28 game season with best of 5 playoffs. I should make it in easy as only a few teams are above. 500 right now.

      It looks like Synergy is only very partially working.

      No new Big Moments since, Rewind somewhat working, & no auto roster management (with no roster/ratings update in three weeks).

      It looks like the sales on this game have boosted traffic, but they aren't doing themselves any favors with these other aspects.
