Only further highlighting what a joke ratings are in the majority of sports games these days. More games really really really have to start expanding and opening up the ratings like MLB The Show.

Never played a single down in the NFL yet take the field in Madden in the high 70's and low 80's. These are the things IMO why Madden will truly ever excel. The fact that you have a reaction show for the ratings just proves how little real ratings mean. Everyone has a great time seeing how good they are. Did I ever tell you about the time I won 2 Super Bowls with Jamarcus Russell??? Winston never played a down in the NFL and no experience... 55 ovr tops.

They are inflated. I was tired of hearing about Leonard Williams being the steal of the draft. If he was that good he wouldn't have fallen out of the top 5. He fell because pass rushers are worth a lot more than run staffers and his pass rush numbers on third down were average in college.

Personally I don't care if rating are high or even if there isn't a huge spread as long as you can notice the difference. A 5 point gap can be programmed to be significant. It all falls on the developers. Personally I think they have been fairly decent in the past in that it is tough to win a bad match up. The biggest issue has not been seeing the spread in cpu qb play. When a starter goes down I want to see a dropoff.

Rank him where you will (led AFC in rushing and NFL in yards from scrimmage) but I'm glad Pittsburgh has Bell - above anyone else.

Very true. His BCV should be near 99.

The 2 above him aren't bad though in Lynch and Peterson...even at his age. Murray led the league in rushing yards pretty handily, granted you or I could produce behind that OL in Dallas.
