The trailer showcased what appears to be new pre-game intros, player emotions, and a bevy of new gameplay improvements and animations. At the end of the video was a quick look at what appears to be Brooklyn's Tobacco Factory courts.
During EA's on-stage presentation, it was revealed that NBA Live 16 will have a mobile app that will allow users to scan their face for use within the game and in various modes. The app (showcased by 'ThaHoopGawd') will be available just before launch of the game, which was confirmed for September 29. Along with EA Access, this allows users (minus those on PS4) to play Live 16 'early,' matching competitor NBA 2K16.
