No let down in Pasadena. The analyst can put the bed the notion of a let by USC after 2 emotional victories over top 10 opponents in back to back weeks. Defense steps up and causes 5 turnovers and destroys the Oregon option attack holding the Duck offense to 38 rush yards and 72 passing yards.

Barkley 137 yards 2 TD 1 INT
Morgan 18 carries 107 yards 1 TD
Armstead and McDonald fumble recover for TD

Good news for my bowl opponent... HB John Clay and WR Nick Toon are both done for the remainder of the season. Clay went down in after just 13 carries for the game, however he still tallied up 99 yards and a touchdown. As part of those 99 yards, Clay managed to set the single season rushing yardage record at 2703 yards on the season; additionally, Clay has 30 rushing touchdowns. The Badgers will use their bowl game as a chance to prepare their offense for next season when Clay & Toon will both be gone anyway.

Michigan goes down in flames. After being down 28-0 and facing all kinds of adversity we fight back to make it a respectable 35-21 loss. Like I told Jeff I am not going to take anything away from his playcalling as he did a great job but I feel as if I have been EA'd. While he was building his 28-0 lead I could do no right and he could do no wrong. Case in point his QB's were 16/16...his defense batted every ball that I threw and my defense missed a ton of tackles. None the less it was a fun but very frustrating game...my wife had to come ask my three times if I was okay.

I guess tOSU's winning streak over Michigan will reach 3,000 days.

Great game Jeff, hopfully I can do something about it next year.

Michigan stages a furious 4th quarter comeback, but it's too little, too late

Ohio State comes away with a surprisingly dominant 35-21 victory. While the scoreboard suggests a close game, the Buckeyes led 28-0 at halftime, behind an impressive running attack. Michigan was able to slice through a conservative Buckeyes defense at the beginning of the 4th, then had two back to back scoring drives linked together by an extremely fortunate bounce on an onside kick attempt (OB, if that was on purpose, that was magnificent). But Ohio State was able to respond to the initial Michigan score with a touchdown drive of their own, and then held onto the ball for the final minutes to come away with a 35-21 victory.

Mich
Tate Forcier: 19 of 36 (9 passes defended) for 272 yards and 3 TDs
Nick Cleveland: 6 carries for 22 yards
Martavious Odoms: 7 receptions for 130 yards
Michigan Linebackers (Jones, Demens, Fitzgerald): 24 solo tackles (5 ast) with 5 TFLs

Ohio State
Joe Germaine: 16 of 16 for 181 yards
Pepe Pearson: 36 carries for 151 yards and 5 TDs. All 5 TD runs were inside 3 yards.
Buster Tillman: 6 receptions for 91 yards
Ohio State defense: 9 passes deflected/defended
