As I work through playing with sliders, I wanted a place where I could compile some numbers and post whatever I'm using for settings and sliders.

Anyone who is interested is encouraged to post in this thread including any stats from their games and any slider adjustments that are working for them.

To be clear, I'm going to play 15-minute quarters with Accelerated Clock set somewhere between :15 and :17. If you're looking for short, quick games, your in the wrong place. [emoji4]

I'll post my current settings here, later.

The final score looks closer than it was. Miami scored 14 points in the final 4:50 to make a 34-9 game look respectable.

Pittsburgh made 3 big plays in the game and they were the difference-makers. Ben to Brown for a 53-yard score in the first quarter, Golden with a 75-yard interception return in the 2nd, and Bell with a 72-yard run on the first play of the second half. After that, with a 31-6 lead, the Steelers sat on the ball.

I will certainly contribute when I can. Haven't really had a whole lot of time to do much lately in the game beyond a game or two in my franchise here or there.

Sounds good, brother.

You playing on All-Madden or All-Pro SF?
For now, All-Pro.

I always start there because it plays true to ratings. But if it's too easy I'll move up. I'm rusty as fuck but getting back into the groove day-by-day so I'll go where the numbers tell me to.

mors and anyone who is playing a Franchise already please try this out.

I saw at OS that the following seems to work for Fatigue and Auto-subs in Franchise Mode.

Set Fatigue at 48 in the game's main menu.

Set Fatigue to 58 in CFM.

Set Sub out/Sub in to 60/80 for EVERY position.

I'm not going to start my real Franchise until we have opening day rosters but I'm going to go ahead and start a test one to work on sliders so I can see if this fatigue setup works.

If you try this setup in CFM, please let us know how it works!

I like 60/80 for most positions other than OL and qb. I boost the sub out more for rbs and DL.

Those Miami and Pitt stats were pretty good. That is about what I would expect. I'm playing on all madden with some tweaks. Need to test somethings out more but this game is playing pretty well for the most part. As long as you accept that the passing game needs longer, unrealistic protection to function in this game you are fine. Everyone complains about pass rush every year and it's partially justified but Madden passing isn't close to nfl passing. Outside of Pitt and Arizona most nfl teams dink and dunk all day. Madden isn't set up for that and most gamers don't want it either. Madden is designed to play like Pitt.

Thanks for the input, Rudy. For the record I never saw an OL or QB come out for fatigue in the game I just played using 60/80.

I can't comment on the HBs though because it was a RB by committee situation for me.

The game started very quietly as the first TD came on an 18-yard pass from Rivers to Johnson on a corner route to put the Chargers up 13-3 with 0:40 left in the first half.

Benjamin caught a 9-yard TD from Rivers midway through the 3rd and SD appeared to be cruising.

Then Charles went off, scoring 3 rushing TDs in a span of 6:32 on runs of 75, 18 and 40 yards. The Chiefs led, 24-20 through 3.

Rookie Hunter Henry, who had a big debut, saw his snap count increase after Gates went down with a broken collarbone on the team's opening drive of the game. Henry responded with a 7-yard TD catch with 4:07 to play and the Chargers were back in front, 27-24.

Santos connected from 27 to tie the game with 1:56 to play, before Lambo gave the Chargers a 30-27 won with a 30-yarder as time expired. The winning kick was setup by a Liuget 15-yard fumble return in the final :30.

I don't know how often a QB would come out but I know in the past using 60/80 on OL I would be annoyed seeing some crappy OL in the game. It's the one position set that never seems to get rotated for in real life.

I think San Diego would be fun to play with. Some exciting offensive weapons. The division is tough too. I like KC in that division as well. I've thought about not using Miami in a franchise. Some of the most fun franchises I had in the Show were when I was the Reds and Giants - not the Tigers (plus I like managing without a DH). It keeps me from being anal about roster moves and stuff. Jax (young stars, bad unis), Bears (historic, lets you draft a QB) and San Fran interest me. Heck, even the Rams in LA intrigue me as firing Fisher and having a Dickerson/Gurley type of team would be fun.

Here are my All-Madden sliders for those that want to give that level a shot. I am rusty and I am not a good passer as a point of reference. I do find with QB accuracy close to 10 you will see errant passes.

I always play All Pro but my experience yesterday.... All Pro is just too easy this year. I played AM last night and it felt good (on slow). I also didn't see too much cheating by the cpu.

Rudy, historically when you drop the cpu pass slider below 20 the cup AI runs the ball more and passes less. Have you seen that in your testing?

I know that was an issue one year. It may be an issue this year but it depends on the team. I played against green Bay and Rodgers threw a lot. Panthers ran like crazy. It also depends on the QB I think. Cousins got hurt and when McCoy came in they ran 80% of the time. Kirk came back one quarter later and they threw a lot more. So I can't say for sure right now.

The Chargers were dead last in rushing in the AFC in 2015 and struggled in the opener in Kansas City to start 2016. That wasn't the case against the Jags, as 2 backs, Oliver and Gordon, hit the century mark as the Chargers controlled the click and ground out a 2-0 start.

Manti Te'o suffered an abdominal tear early in the first quarter and is expected to be sidelined for 5 weeks.

Melvin Gordon had touchdown runs off 1, 20 and 88 yards as the Chargers ran through a porous Indianapolis defense for a 26-19 win, despite a tough outing for quarterback Philip Rivers.

With Andrew Luck sidelined with an injury, backup Scott Tolzien passed for 330 yards but a Frank Gore fumble inside the Chargers 5-yard-line in the 4th quarter proved costly as the Colts fell to 1-2.

I'm a bit concerned about the rushing yards I've racked up the last 2 games but those defenses aren't very stout. I'm not going to get a good test in the next game either as I host the 0-3 Saints.

After that it's the Raiders and Broncos so they'll be a better gauge.

Don't trust the NFL Leaders in stats.

No Chargers show up in the Sack leaders. They're there when sorted by team, division and conference but not by league. Grr.

I'm having fun but I'm not quite feeling challenged yet. Most of that is due to a weak CPU run game and run defense. I have hope that I can get where I want to be but I'm not there yet.

Until the QB sack/fumble combo is addressed I'm boosting up the fumble slider to help. I forgot confidence affects it and it must be why Goff, who is having a bad year, is fumbling on almost every sack.

Just curious for those who play with more penalties. Do you find you get the same number as the cpu? I try not to believe things are unbalanced since we tend to only notice the bad things to happen to us but it really seems as though I get more holding calls and offsides called against me. Now this is a Jeff Fisher team who is usually highly penalized and maybe my team's ratings reflect this. Just curious if you guys are seeing balance or not.

I'm really not sure the reaction slider works well at all. Again, if people can't tell the difference between 0 and 100 it means the slider sucks.

On All-Madden with Reaction at 0, watch how fast the Giants SS reacts to this play. They have a man robber defense of some kind called. The SS (right side of screen) runs to the middle of the field. As soon as I hit my button he changes direction and runs back in time to knock the ball loose on a post pattern. I was not happy.

I have decided to drop down to ALL PRO. I just can't take how cheap All Madden feels. The fumbles and interceptions combined with no hum pass rush and super cpu pass rush is just too much for me and my skill set.

No shame there man. All Pro seems to be the sweet spot, with some slider adjustments.

From what I'm reading the sliders don't work well. Run blocking has a small effect as some are finding it too easy to run on all madden.not broken for me at the moment but I really wish the Dev team put more effort into this area. The slider set up is different in franchise. Still no excuse for not splitting special teams sliders. I'd still like a RBA slider and a knockdown slider to tune the swat. But you should see a clear difference between 0 and 100 for all sliders and we don't have that. Just pick the difficulty closest to you and pray you can tweak it good enough.

I'm not sure I'll ever get good games from the CPU on All-Pro. My punter took the day off as the only time I didn't score was when I got stopped on 4th and goal at the 1 and when I ran out the clock to end the game.

I did lose a couple players to injury. Benjamin was knocked from the game with a shoulder injury but he'll be back next week. Rivers suffered an abdominal tear and will miss 2 weeks.
