After losing a respected and popular member of QA this fall, the NBA Live team has paid tribute to a co-worker by adding him into LIVE Pro-Am.

In a letter from Sean O'Brien, the title's Executive Producer talks about the late Henry "Hank" Warner who has been memorialized in LIVE Pro-Am. Warner appears as the boss character in the third level at the new Margaret Hie Ding Lin Park.

Hey everybody,

As some of you know, we released a patch yesterday for NBA LIVE 16. There is a lot of new content and fixes in there but I wanted to call out one thing that you will see when you play the new LIVE Pro-Am venue at Margaret Hie Ding Lin, which is located about a mile away from the city of Chicago’s Chinatown.

Henry “Hank” Warner passed away suddenly earlier this fall. Hank worked here at Tiburon in Quality Assurance for almost 9 years, across most of our titles and 3 console transitions. He was always happy to be at work and cared not only about the job but the people he worked with. Hank greeted everyone with a smile, and was known for his infectious laugh. He was passionate about games – both playing and helping create the best experience possible.

We wanted to memorialize Hank and pay tribute to him so we made him the boss character on level 3 in the new Summer Circuit tournament at Margaret Hie Ding Lin. Hank was always online and loved to play games with his friend. We think that he would love the fact that he is actually now in the game that he spent the last 3+ years working so passionately on. And we think he would especially love how good he is too!

We lost a big part of EA Tiburon this year, but his memory will live on in the way he lived his life. All of us are better for having Hank in our lives and we wanted to share his story. Thank you for your continued support and Happy Thanksgiving.

Sean O’Brien
Executive Producer – NBA LIVE

Yeah, kudos to EA for doing this. Much like adding Portsmouth's home ground in FIFA 16 for the dev that was a Portsmouth supporter and passed away.
