Ohio State has an easy time with Minnesota, 27-12. Minnesota couldn't really get it rolling on offense, though Ohio State had their own struggles as well. Impact WR Buster Tillman left in the first quarter and will be out for 3 weeks. Impact HB Pepe Pearson had an elbow bruise that kept him out for most of the second half.

I really wish we could go back in time to the beginning of the season and see Texas/Bama and PSU/Bama with the changes in Patch 3. Would be very interesting to see how differently those games turned out.

I probably would've lost....they jumped out to a 10-0 lead early....threw an INT and got handled. Probably doesn't happen that easy.

Why can't you slide on a QB run? I try to slide and Landry dives and it's ALWAYS a fumble.

#2 Texas slaps #4 Oklahoma due to 6 turnovers, no redzone visits or drive past their own 30 until 4th quarter

Landry Jones threw 3 INTs and fumbled once, Blake Bell threw 2 INTs and Drew Allen got injured in a bad performance vs Texas for the second straight year. The team scored no offensive TDs, if not for Quentin Hayes' 97 yard kick return for TD, the Oklahoma offense mustered up 3 points in a 44-10 loss.

Landry Jones and Drew Allen led the Sooners in rushing with 21 and 16 yards respectively, all coming on one run each. Jaz Reynolds caught 5 passes for 44 yards and Miller 4 for 64.

We had no sacks and no TFLs until the third quarter.

The Longhorns scored 28 in the 1st quarter, including 2 INT returns for TDs.

#2 Texas wins the Red River Shootout against #4 Oklahoma 44-10 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, TX.
****
RB Chris Whaley: 22 car 108 yds 1 TD
****
CB Ben Wells: 6 tackles, 2 INT (1 TD), 2 pass deflections
Longhorn defense: allowed 190 offensive yards, forced 6 turnovers (5 INT)
Longhorn offense: rushed for 224 yards on 43 carries
****
Key Injury: 4 year starting FS Blake Gideon broke his ribs and will be out 4-6 weeks.
"Vacarro will be starting next week at free", explained Coach LoneStar, "it will alter our defensive packages....Ben Wells and Johnny Roberson will battle it out this week in practice for the strong nickel spot to replace Kenny Vacarro. Kenny adds more athleticism at the free, but it will be tough to replace Blake's intelligence back there."
****
It's been a rough month for the Longhorns after having 2 bye weeks, but the rest should help as they play 4 out of the final 6 regular season games on the road (including USC and rival Texas A&M....#6 and #21, respectively, on ESPN's "toughest places to play" list.
****
Next up: Oregon State at 4pm central on ESPN2 in Austin, TX

That will work, I can understand how he must feel after the trip to Alabama, watching PSU go down then driving back and not wanting to play.

I'll advance tomorrow once I get home.

We got disco'd in the 1st quarter (4:27 remaining) Clemson 7-0, with the ball at the 12-yard line.

My son woke up and I had to take care of him so I was unable to start the game back up.

We were going to retart, then set the game up at the time the disco happened. We scheduled the game for 6 est
