When Spike Lee's 'Livin' Da Dream' ends in MyCareer, your story does not end. You will continue on in MyCareer.

As part of last week's 2K Team Up Community Event, Operation Sports' Dustin Toms shared details on the new Off-Day Simulator coming to the mode (http://www.operationsports.com/features/2335/nba-2k16-mycareer-nba-details-and-off-day-simulator-video/).

Lee’s story starts at the beginning, but ends just as you make it to the NBA.

So we pick it up with the Off-Day Simulator, one the newest additions to NBA 2K16. You will have upwards of 80 off days during each season, which should give you ample time to still participate in random activities that relate to your MyCAREER.

You’ll be taken to the NEXT Menu, your UI hub between games where you decide what’s next. Time management plays a critical role in your MyCAREER, especially since you have full control of each decision made. The NEXT Menu will show what’s scheduled each day, from Endorsements, Connections and Live Practice. Each option will reward you with something new each time. Rewards can include pre-game rituals, Virtual Currency or even the option of jersey selection for games.

During off-days, users will decide between the options of earning endorsements, building connections, live practice, or play/design MyCOURT.

Excluding the yet-to-be-detailed HS & college aspects, I think this mode and aspects sound more interesting than the Lee storyline.

The Live Practice sounds like a great feature to work on game skills and knowledge.

The Endorsements aspect is interesting: What is the pay-off? What does earning the fake money do or mean? I imagine it is like Fans in 2K15 where it didn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things.

Well, I am very happy to hear that the whole Spike Lee crap ends once you hit the NBA. I was afraid it was an ongoing thing like the whole rivalry storyline was in 2k14, where you'd be dealing with it over an entire career or something.
