Escobar, will you be available to play tomorrow around 9pm central or so?

This seems very weird to say, but I'm actually glad when I read "there were no commitments by Ohio State targets".

Snoop when are you free to play? I got a lot of classes tomorrow, but I don't have to work, so I should be free after 4pm CST, unless my roommates decide to have a FIFA night. Saturday I should be free most of the day, and Sunday I'll be going to the SMU game at 2:30 and I have to go to work at 8 also.

I just put up my entire weekend schedule lol.

Haha....I feel that....if I didn't have any visits or received a commit during a call....that's usually the best info you can get on a week update

The #1 Longhorns physically punished #20 Nebraska....59-20 in Austin.
****
Junior RB Chris Whaley led the way with 136 rushing yards and 4 TDs. Senior Fozzy Whittaker chipped in with 77 yards and redshirt freshman Traylon Shead had 25 yards and 2 scores.
****
Junior QB Garrett Gilbert had a solid day....throwing for 189 yards along with 2 TDs and O INTs.
****
Young MLB Jordan Hicks led the Longhorn defense with 8 tackles (7 solo, 4 TFL) and senior DE Emmanuel Acho put pressure on the Cornhusker offense with 2 sacks.
****
The Longhorns coaching staff definitely wanted to put on a show for the nation's #1 RB, #4 RB, and #3 ATH (likely RB) recruits that were in attendance as the trio of Texas backs (Whaley, Whittaker, Shead) rushed for a combined total of 238 yards and 6 touchdowns on 39 carries against the vaunted Bo Pelini defense. All 3 recruits in attendance were reported to have kool-aid smiles on their faces during the ball game.
****
#1 Texas takes on conference foe Oklahoma State in Austin next Saturday....2:30 central on ABC.

I can play tonight around 9:30pm CST if that would work? I have a game I'm playing at 8:00pm CST but as soon as that is finished I'd be up for this one.

The Hokies beat the Jackets 31-24

VT would build up a 21-10 lead at the half but Georgia Tech who is a 95% of the time option ran offense, turned into a damn near unstoppable 3rd down passing team. They would put up 21 unanswered points in the 3rd quarter. Tech would run off 14 of their own to get the W.

QB Logan Thomas would throw for 411 yards and 3 scores with 0 interceptions, while adding another score and 69 yards on the ground. HB Darren Evans would rush for 96 yards and a score. The ball was spread around to the WR's nicely. Dyrell Roberts hauled in 4 catches for 141 yards, Jarrett Boykin hauled in 3 receptions for 106 yards and 2 scores. Marcus Davis caught 2 receptions for 104 yards and 1 TD. On defense tackling machine and Butikis award winner Lydell Gibson had 12 tackles total, 8 of which were solo, 6 of those were for tackles for losses. He also had a sack in the game.

Next up for the Hokies is a big game against the #3 ranked Wisconsin Badgers

FSU's bid to repeat as ACC champs takes a hit as senior RB Jermaine Thomas is lost for the season (and his career) to a broken vertebrae early in the 3rd quarter, give me medical redshirts EA!

It will now be running back by committee with redshirt sophomore Chris Thompson ahead of FB Lonnie Pryor and 3rd stringer Ty Jones.

Michigan wins a physical game in Death Valley 28-20.

This was a game where Michigan came out and imposed its will on offense running the ball at will, the defense on the other hand had a poor showing giving up 400 yards on offense. Saved by 10 penalties for 111 yards by the Clemson offense the defense was able to hold the Tigers to zero points in the second half while the Michigan running game took over.

Great Game Escobar...There is something building in Death Valley that the ACC will not want to face in the upcoming years. You've got a great scheme and know how to call some good plays in the right spots. Next year in Ann Arbor is going to be another dog fight.

Yep. Hopefully I can have my system on O and D fully implemented next year. On D, I had alot of holes to fill with 3 or my 4 starters in the secondary being new players. And my Rover isn't really a Rover type, he played regular SS last year. My Freshman LE should be a star in the coming years. He already makes more plays than DaQuan Bowers who is a 99 OVR.

Oklahoma 67, Akron 13.

Lesson 1: Stop supersimming XPs. The CPU missed three of them.
Lesson 2: We are good.

Landry Jones threw for 315 and 3 TDs and 2 INTs. Drew Allen went a perfect 5-for-5 for 144 yards and 2 TDs.

Calhoun 9 car 74 yards TD
Bell 8 car 35 yards TD
Finch 7 car 139 yards 2 TD
Clay 6 car 93 yards TD
Dejuan Miller 1 rush 1 yd TD 9 rec 241 yards 3 TD

We had 3 sacks on defense, and McFarland forced & recovered a fumble.

Lesson 1: Stop supersimming XPs. The CPU missed three of them.Yeah ... wouldn't have mattered. For whatever reason, Akron's K is their 46 OVR true freshmen kicker ... rather than their 79 OVR P. Their K has 42 KAC.

Ugh, Season Showdown's Sportsmanship triggers are still ridiculous. No one would expect an offense to shut it down at halftime against Notre Dame, even if they are leading by 28.

Ohio State leads 31-3 at halftime, and that's the final. Notre Dame's offense was horrid.
