Apparently your sarcasm detector is off.

538 definitely "leans" left but allot of their articles are particularly interesting when they perform statistical analysis

I liked him exposing the weights for each position. Take note Madden scouters on what to look for prior to the draft.

538 and its owner Nate Silver are darlings of the left for their election predictions.Not that it changes anything about what you said, but 538 is owned/run by ESPN, much like Grantland.

Correct should have said former owner. Silver started the site as a political/election analysis website then sold it to the NYT and then apparently it was bought out by ESPN.

538 and its owner Nate Silver are darlings of the left for their election predictions.I was reading Nate Silver's book on the plane yesterday, and I found a part that I thought would amuse you. He mentioned, which I'm sure it's what you were referring to, that he regularly heard from Democrats during the 2008 election that 538 was where they came to... relax, I think, was the statement. He then put in a footnote that he heard no such thing in 2010 when 538 predicted they'd get their asses kicked.

Basically, I don't think they're darlings of the left so much as darlings of whoever they're saying will win. Shocking, right?

I need to read more of that book. And more of 538. I just find myself not having time!

They picked the Democrats to win once. Therefore, they are Liberals. Haven't you learned anything?
