1. CHRIS PAUL
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
94 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-15-ratings-paul.jpg

The quintessential point guard, Paul's arrival in Tinsel Town completely changed the culture of the Clippers. His leadership and skillset has helped lead the Clippers to three straight postseason appearances for just the second time in franchise history.

2. STEPHEN CURRY
GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS
92 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-15-ratings-curry.jpg

Curry's not just the most feared three-point shooter in the league, he's also one of its most complete point guards. He posted career highs in both scoring (24.0) and assists (8.5) in 2013-14 to go with his "from the parking lot" shooting range.

3. RUSSELL WESTBROOK
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
91 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-15-ratings-westbrook.jpg

Perhaps it's the ultimate compliment that some NBA fans insist that Westbrook isn't a point guard. Quite simply, we've never seen his level of athleticism at the point. Westbrook missed nearly two months of the season, but still posted strong numbers across the board (21.8 PPG, 6.9 APG, 5.7 RPG, 1.9 SPG).

4. JOHN WALL
WASHINGTON WIZARDS
90 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-15-ratings-wall.jpg

Prior to the 2013-14 season, Wall signed a five-year, $80 million extension with the Wizards. He rewarded them with career highs in scoring (19.3), assists (8.8), steals (1.8) and three-point shooting (35.1 percent) while leading the Wiz to the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 2005.

5t. DAMIAN LILLARD
PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS
89 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-15-ratings-lillard.jpg

The NBA LIVE 15 cover athlete rounds out the list of top five point guards. In his second NBA season, the former Rookie of the Year led the Blazers to the Western Conference Semifinals for the first time since 2000, while also showing the ability to hit big-time shots.

5t. DERRICK ROSE
CHICAGO BULLS
89 OVR

5t. TONY PARKER
SAN ANTONIO SPURS
89 OVR

Top Shooting Guards (http://www.easports.com/nba-live/news/2014/shooting-guard-player-ratings) (9/24):

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/NBA_Ratings_header_SG.jpg

1. JAMES HARDEN
HOUSTON ROCKETS
90 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-harden.jpg

Since being traded to Houston, Harden has blossomed as one of the game's elite scorers. He averaged more than 25 points a game in 2013-14, and also chipped in a career-high 6.1 APG.

2. KOBE BRYANT
LOS ANGELES LAKERS
89 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-bryant.jpg

Bryant's return from an achilles injury was short-lived, as the future Hall of Famer played just six games last season. Doubt him at your own risk.

3. DWYANE WADE
MIAMI HEAT
86 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-wade.jpg

With the departure of LeBron James to Cleveland, Wade is once again the man in Miami. Expect Wade's scoring numbers (19 PPG last season) to be back near pre-LeBron levels this season.

4t. LANCE STEPHENSON
CHARLOTTE HORNETS
85 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-stephenson.jpg

Stephenson inked a three-year deal with Charlotte in the offseason, and should fit in nicely with the young, athletic Hornets. Still just 24 years old, Stephenson is one of the game's best two-way guards.

4t. DEMAR DEROZAN
TORONTO RAPTORS
85 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-derozan.jpg

DeRozan made a huge leap in his fifth season north of the border, setting career highs in scoring (22.7 PPG), rebounding (4.3 RPG), and assists (4.0 APG).

NBA LIVE 15 Player Ratings roll on with Small Forwards, as the league's two best players are joined by one of the NBA's best young players.

Check out the top five Small Forwards in NBA LIVE 15.

1. LEBRON JAMES
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
95 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-james.jpg

The NBA's best player returns to Cleveland after winning a pair of titles in South Beach. James, a four-time MVP, checks in as the top-rated player in NBA LIVE 15.

2. KEVIN DURANT
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
94 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-durant.jpg

The reigning MVP and four-time scoring champion is tied with Chris Paul with the second-highest rating in NBA LIVE 15. Simply put, Durant is the most feared scorer in basketball.

3. CARMELO ANTHONY
NEW YORK KNICKS
92 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-anthony.jpg

Because of the Knicks' struggles, Anthony has almost become underrated in his own right. The seven-time All-Star is among the game's most versatile scorers, and can fill it up from anywhere on the court.

4. PAUL GEORGE
INDIANA PACERS
90 OVR

* Indiana Pacers Forward Paul George is rated 90 OVR, but does not appear in this list due to injury.

5. KAWHI LEONARD
SAN ANTONIO SPURS
89 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-leonard.jpg

The reigning NBA Finals MVP has followed in the footsteps of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili and become a star in San Antonio. The sky's the limit for the San Diego State product in year four.

6. ANDRE IGOUDALA
GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS
87 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-igoudala.jpg

Igoudala has long been considered one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA. He brings toughness on the wings to a talented Warriors squad.

Top Power Forwards (http://www.easports.com/nba-live/news/2014/power-forward-player-ratings) (9/26):

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-15-ratings-power-forward-header.jpg

Click SHOW to see the list.
The Power Forward position has been revolutionized by the "Stretch 4" movement, but there's still plenty of value in low post scoring.

Here are the top five Power Forwards in NBA LIVE 15.

1. BLAKE GRIFFIN
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
91 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-15-ratings-griffin.jpg

Griffin's already known as one of the most spectacular athletes in the league, but he's continued to evolve his game. He finished third in MVP voting after scoring a career-high 24.1 PPG.

2. KEVIN LOVE
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
90 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-15-ratings-love.jpg

After six seasons in Minnesota, Love joins LeBron James and Kyrie Irving in Cleveland. Love averaged a career-high 26.1 PPG in 2013-14, and will probably be more efficient playing in the low post for the Cavs.

3t. LAMARCUS ALDRIDGE
PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS
89 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-15-ratings-aldridge.jpg

Aldridge was crucial to the Blazers reaching the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 2000. He began the postseason by scoring 40+ points in consecutive Portland wins, including an eye-popping 46 and 18 in Game 1 against Houston.

3t. ANTHONY DAVIS
NEW ORLEANS PELICANS
89 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-15-ratings-davis.jpg

Davis appears destined for NBA superstardom after a breakout 2013-14 and impressive showing in Spain. Davis won't turn 22 until March, and already has a 20-10 season in the books. Unfair.

5. DIRK NOWITZKI
DALLAS MAVERICKS
87 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-15-ratings-dirk1.jpg

The elder stateman of the group, Nowitzki continues to roll along in Dallas. Dirk scored 21.7 PPG, his highest average since the Mavericks won it all in 2010-11.

Top Centers (http://www.easports.com/nba-live/news/2014/center-player-ratings) (9/27):

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-center-header.jpg

Centers are often the identity of their teams, whether they're hard-nosed and intense or skilled and unselfish.

Check out the top five Centers in NBA LIVE 15.

1t. DWIGHT HOWARD
HOUSTON ROCKETS
90 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-howard.jpg

After drama-filled seasons in Orlando and Los Angeles, Howard played well in his first season in Houston. He averaged more than 18 PPG and 12 RPG, while providing the same interior defense fans have come to expect.

1t. JOAKIM NOAH
CHICAGO BULLS
90 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-noah.jpg

The reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year is coming off the best season of his career. Without Derrick Rose and Luol Deng, Noah's role expanded to "Point Center," where he used his great passing to open up Chicago's offense. Noah set career highs in scoring (12.6), rebounding (11.3), and assists (5.4).

1t. DEMARCUS COUSINS
SACRAMENTO KINGS
90 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-cousins.jpg

"Boogie" exploded in his third NBA season, setting career-highs with 22.7 PPG, 11.7 RPG, 2.9 APG, and 1.3 BPG. Next up: leading the Kings back to relevancy in the Western Conference.

4. AL JEFFERSON
CHARLOTTE HORNETS
89 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-jefferson.jpg

One of the most gifted low-post scorers in the league, Jefferson enjoyed a breakout season in his first season with Charlotte, leading the Bobcats to the postseason.

5. MARC GASOL
MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES
88 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-gasol.jpg

Marc has followed in his brother Pau's footsteps as arguably the most skilled big man in basketball. Injuried limited him to just 59 games in 2013-14, but he still forms one of the NBA's best frontcourts alongside Zach Randolph. With free agency looming, expect big things from the Spaniard.

Top 3-Point Shooters (http://www.easports.com/nba-live/news/2014/best-shooters-player-ratings) (9/28):

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-shooter-header.jpg

Click SHOW to see the list.
Three-point shots are being taken at record rates in today’s NBA, and are an important part of any teams offense.

Let’s take a look the best three-point shooters in NBA LIVE 15.

1. KYLE KORVER
ATLANTA HAWKS
95 3PT

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-korver.jpg

Korver led the league by shooting a blistering 47.2% from deep. Even with defenses geared to stop him, Korver set an NBA record by hitting a three in 127 consecutive games.

2. STEPHEN CURRY
GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS
94 3PT

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-curry3.jpg

Curry led the league in both threes made (261) and attempted (615). He's a marksman of a different breed, and is just as deadly off the dribble as he is in catch-and-shoot situations. He ranked eighth in the league by shooting 42.4% from downtown.

3. KLAY THOMPSON
GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS
92 3PT

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-thompson.jpg

It's no surprise that the Splash Brothers are back-to-back in our rankings. Thompson finished second behind Curry with 223 threes made, and ninth in three-point percentage at 41.7%.

4t. KEVIN DURANT
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
91 3PT

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-durant.jpg

The MVP and scoring champ can get a shot from anywhere he chooses and unfortunately for defenses, he takes a lot from three-point range. Durant was sixth with 192 threes in 2013-14, and his size makes it nearly impossible to get a hand in his face.

4t. JOSE CALDERON
NEW YORK KNICKS
91 3PT

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-calderon.jpg

Jose Calderon is quietly one of the league's best snipers from deep. Last year, he finished fourth in the league by sinking 44.9% of his threes. Chances are he'll get some open looks playing alongside Carmelo Anthony this season.

Top Dunkers (http://www.easports.com/nba-live/news/2014/dunking-player-ratings) (9/29):

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-header-dunk.jpg

Click SHOW to see the list.
The slam dunk is the highest-percentage shot in basketball. It can raise a crowd to its feet and demoralize an opponent.

Here are the best dunkers in NBA LIVE 15.

1. BLAKE GRIFFIN
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
98 DUNK

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-dunk-griffin.jpg

Griffin won the 2011 Slam Dunk Contest by jumping over a car, and has done the same to many of his fellow NBA players. What goes up must come down, and Griffin comes down hard no matter who is in his way.

2. DEANDRE JORDAN
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
97 DUNK

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-dunk-jordan.jpg

Jordan represents Lob City alongside Griffin, and is an almost unfair combination of size and athleticism. He led the league with 245 dunks in 2013-14, many of them coming on alley-oops from point guard Chris Paul.

3. DWIGHT HOWARD
HOUSTON ROCKETS
96 DUNK

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-dunk-howard.jpg

Although Howard has been slightly hampered by nagging back injuries, he's still a powerful dunker that finished second in the NBA with 195 dunks. His strength allows him to carry defenders to the basket to collect And 1's.

4. LEBRON JAMES
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
95 DUNK

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-dunk-james.jpg

While James has never entered a Slam Dunk Contest, players know to move out of the way when he's coming down the lane. Look for a new, slimmed-down James to finish tons of outlet passes from new teammate Kevin Love.

5. GERALD GREEN
PHOENIX SUNS
93 DUNK

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-dunk-green.jpg

Gerald Green is not as physical as the others on this list but, but he can fly. Green has found a home in Phoenix's fast-paced style, which should allow for a few "head above the rim" dunks throughout the season.

Top Five Ball-handlers (http://www.easports.com/nba-live/news/2014/best-ball-handlers-player-ratings) (9/30):

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-ball-handling-header.jpg

Click SHOW to see the list.
Dribbling is basketball's most basic skill, but it can also be its most mesmerizing.

Here are the five best ballhanders in NBA LIVE 15.

1. KYRIE IRVING
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
95 BALLHANDLING

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-irving-bh.jpg

Irving has been making youngsters and veterans alike look silly with his handles. He has mastery of every dribble move, as he's showcased in last year's All-Star Game and this summer in Spain.

2. CHRIS PAUL
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
94 BALLHANDLING

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-paul-bh.jpg

CP3 uses his handles to get where he wants on the floor. With the highest assist-to-turnover ratio in the NBA (a whopping 4.57), Paul is among the game's most dangerous players with the ball in his hands.

3. JAMAL CRAWFORD
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
93 BALLHANDLING

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-crawford-bh.jpg

With a Twitter handle like @Jcrossover, you know he has to be good. With the one of the NBA's best crossovers (as well as his his patented "Shake and Bake" move), it's no surprise to find Crawford on this list.

4t. JOHN WALL
WASHINGTON WIZARDS
92 BALLHANDLING

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-wall-bh.jpg

Wall is among the NBA's quickest players off the dribble, and uses his handle to get to the basket or get a wide open jumper for a teammate.

4t. KEMBA WALKER
CHARLOTTE HORNETS
92 BALLHANDLING

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/0914/nba-live-ratings-walker-bh.jpg

Walker's handle has been on display since his college days, and he's carried it over into the NBA. Despite standing just 6'1, he's continued to improve thanks to his quickness and ballhandling ability.

Top Five Shot-Blockers (http://www.easports.com/nba-live/news/2014/best-shotblockers-player-ratings) (10/1):

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/NBA_Ratings_header_SB.jpg

Click SHOW to see the list.
As teams put a bigger emphasis on protecting the paint, the blocked shot is a great way to erase layups and make opponents think twice about attacking the rim.

Here are your best shot swatters in NBA LIVE 15.

1. SERGE IBAKA
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
96 BLOCK

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-shotblockers-ibaka.jpg

They call him Iblocka, and for good reason. Ibaka blocked a league-high 219 shots last year, and completely transforms the Thunder when he's on the floor. Can he get an NBA title to go with those blocks titles?

2t. ANTHONY DAVIS
NEW ORLEANS PELICANS
95 BLOCK

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-shotblockers-davis.jpg

In just his second season, Davis led the NBA with 2.82 BPG. Davis is the future of paint protection with his agility and length.

2t. LARRY SANDERS
MILWAUKEE BUCKS
95 BLOCK

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-shotblockers-sanders.jpg

After blocking 2.8 shots a game in 2012-13, Sanders struggled through 2013-14 and played just 23 games. He's expected to return the form and patrol the paint for a talented young Bucks team.

2t. DEANDRE JORDAN
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
95 BLOCK

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-shotblockers-jordan.jpg

Doc Rivers empowered Jordan in his first year on the job, and the big man responded. He finished third in the NBA with 2.48 BPG, blocking a career-high 203 shots.

5. DWIGHT HOWARD
HOUSTON ROCKETS
90 BLOCK

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-shotblockers-howard.jpg

Howard's numbers may have dropped but he still finished seventh in the league with 1.8 BPG. With his back now healthy, look for a defensive resurgence from the three-time Defensive Player of the Year.

Defense is half the game, and it starts with keeping your man in front of you.

Here are the best on-ball defenders in NBA LIVE 15.

1t. KAWHI LEONARD
SAN ANTONIO SPURS
95 DEF

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-defense-leonard.jpg

The NBA Finals MVP ranked in the 90th percentile for points per possession, according to Synergy Sports. He's also in the 92nd percentile against defending the Pick and Roll Ball Handler.

1t. TONY ALLEN
MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES
95 DEF

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-defense-allen.jpg

The "Grindfather" bounced back from injury and came alive guarding MVP Kevin Durant in the playoffs. Allen simply imposes his will as a defender, and ranked in the 94th percentile while defending off screens.

1t. PATRICK BEVERLEY
HOUSTON ROCKETS
95 DEF

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-defense-beverley.jpg

Beverley brings some much-needed feistiness to the Rockets. Despite having the unenviable task of covering the league's best point guards, he ranks in the 92nd percentile for isolation defense.

4. ANDRE IGUODALA
GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS
92 DEF

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-defense-iguodala.jpg

Iguodala has been one of the NBA's best lockdown defenders for years, and finally received his due by being named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team in 2013-14.

5. LEBRON JAMES
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
91 DEF

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-defense-james.jpg

James has made it his goal to be named NBA Defensive Player of the Year this season. The King was the heart of Miami's blitzing defense for the last four seasons, and can guard any position on the floor.

Defense may win championships, but a deadly, efficient offense certainly helps.

Check out the five best scoring threats in NBA LIVE 15.

1. KEVIN DURANT
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-scorers-durant.jpg

Guarded, off the dribble, through contact. It doesn't matter. Durant gets buckets when he chooses, where chooses, and how he chooses. The four-time NBA Scoring Champion and reigning MVP is the highest-rated offensive player when he's guarded.

2. CARMELO ANTHONY
NEW YORK KNICKS

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-scorers-anthony.jpg

Despite the Knicks struggles, nobody has ever doubted Carmelo Anthony's ability to score. He can play both forward spots, and scores from the post just as easily as the perimeter. Anthony checks in with an 89 rating from downtown, and also has a guarded shot rating of 95.

3. STEPHEN CURRY
GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-scorers-curry.jpg

The NBA's most productive three-point shooter is capable of scoring points in bunches. Curry's the highest-rated player when taking a shot off the drible. When he gets going, it's must-see TV.

4. LEBRON JAMES
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-scorers-james.jpg

James' all-around offensive game flourished in South Beach, as he posted some of the most efficient seasons in NBA history. He's the highest-rated player when taking contact during a shot.

5. JAMES HARDEN
HOUSTON ROCKETS

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-scorers-harden.jpg

The Beard has a nice stepback jumper that he can hit from all ranges. He ranks second behind teammate Dwight Howard at drawing fouls with a 94 rating.

Rookies are a mix of hope, hype and expectations! This year's rookie class has all those traits, and loads of skill to back it up.

Here are the best rookies in NBA LIVE 15.

1. JABARI PARKER
MILWAUKEE BUCKS
82 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-15-player-ratings-rookies-parker.jpg

The second overall pick is perceived to be more NBA ready thanks to his scoring touch away from the basket, as well as his athleticism. Look for Parker to make an immediate impact playing just two hours from his hometown.

2. ANDREW WIGGINS
MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES
80 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-15-player-ratings-rookies-wiggins.jpg

Wiggins's short career has been a rollercoaster, and he's landed with the Timberwolves. Great length, athleticism and finishing ability has everyone excited for his development over the next few years. He should be a dynamite defensive player from day one.

3. JOEL EMBIID
PHILADELPHIA 76ERS
79 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-15-player-ratings-rookies-embiid.jpg

The Sixers make their first appearance in our NBA LIVE 15 ratings reveals. Embiid has already drawn comparison to legendary big men of years past, but he'll need some time to get acclimated as he recovers from injury.

4. DANTE EXUM
UTAH JAZZ
78 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-15-player-ratings-rookies-exum.jpg

The most hyped international point guard prospect since Ricky Rubio, Exum combines great size for his position with tons of talent. If he develops, the Jazz have the makings of a dynamic backcourt with Exum and second-year Trey Burke.

5. MARCUS SMART
BOSTON CELTICS
76 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-15-player-ratings-rookies-smart.jpg

Smart enters his first season after turning some heads during international workouts over the summer. The Celtics seemed to have locked down their defensive backcourt with Smart, Avery Bradley and (for now) Rajon Rondo.

As the San Antonio Spurs exhibited in the NBA Finals, there's no defense against the perfect pass.

Here are the five best passers in NBA LIVE 15.

1. CHRIS PAUL
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
97 PASSING

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-pass-paul.jpg

CP3 was last year's assist leader with 10.7 dimes per game. The Mayor of Lob City calls the shots for last year's highest-rated offense.

2. RAJON RONDO
BOSTON CELTICS
93 PASSING

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-pass-rondo.jpg

Rondo was in and out of the line up last year, but still averaged 9.8 assists a game. If his hand heals, he's a good bet to lead the league in assists for a third time.

3t. RICKY RUBIO
MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES
91 PASSING

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-pass-rubio.jpg

Rubio will have to adjust to life without Kevin Love. But thanks to their new additions, the Timberwolves could be among the league's most fast-paced teams, which bodes well for Rubio's great vision and passing ability.

4t. KENDALL MARSHALL
MILWAUKEE BUCKS
91 PASSING

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-pass-marshall.jpg

Marshall racked up huge numbers in Mike D'Antoni's offense last year. Was he a product of that system? We'll have to find out this season as he competes with Brandon Knight in Milwaukee.

5. TONY PARKER
SAN ANTONIO SPURS
88 PASSING

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-pass-parker.jpg

Although Parker's numbers and minutes have dipped thanks to San Antonio's depth, he's still one of the league's best passers. As the Spurs showed in the Finals, that skill might be contagious.

Top Five Rebounders (http://www.easports.com/nba-live/news/2014/best-rebounders-player-ratings) (10/6):

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-rebounder-header.jpg

Rebounding requires a number of elements, including athleticism, positioning, and instincts.

Here are the five best rebounders in NBA LIVE 15.

1. KEVIN LOVE
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
95 REB

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-rebounder-love.jpg

Love finished third in the NBA with 12.5 RPG, including a league-high 9.6 DRPG. He turns defensive rebounds into transition opportunities thanks to his great outlet passing.

2t. DEANDRE JORDAN
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
94 REB

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-rebounder-jordan.jpg

Despite playing alongside fellow double-double machine Blake Griffin, Jordan still led the NBA in rebounding with a whopping 13.6 per game.

2t. ANDRE DRUMMOND
DETROIT PISTONS
94 REB

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-rebounder-drummond.jpg

Nobody crashes the offensive glass harder than Drummond, who lapped the NBA with 5.4 ORPG (next best: 4.0) to go with his 13.2 RPG.

4. DWIGHT HOWARD
HOUSTON ROCKETS
92 REB

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-rebounder-howard.jpg

The five-time rebounding champion "only" hauled in 12.2 RPG in his first year with the Rockets, his lowest output since his rookie season. With better health, look for Howard to finish in the 13-14 range again.

5. JOAKIM NOAH
CHICAGO BULLS
91 REB

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-rebounder-noahj.jpg

In a word, relentless. Noah's tenacity on the defensive end contributed to career-highs across the board, including 11.3 RPG. As a result, he was named NBA Defensive Player of the Year.

Top Five Stealers (http://www.easports.com/nba-live/news/2014/best-steals-player-ratings) (10/7):

Turnovers are key in any game, and timely steals can lead to easy baskets on the other end.

Here are the five best stealers in NBA LIVE 15.

1. RICKY RUBIO
MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES
96 STEAL

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-steal-rubio.jpg

Last year's steals leader (190) claims the top spot in our rankings. He was one of the few bright spots on one of the league's worst defensive teams. Look for a much more active Timberwolves defense thanks to the athleticism of players like Andrew Wiggins and Thaddeus Young.

2t. CHRIS PAUL
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
95 STEAL

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-steal-paul.jpg

Paul is a four-time All-Defensive First Teamer, and has led the league in steals a whopping six times. His 2.48 STPG were tops in the NBA in 2013-14.

2t. TONY ALLEN
MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES
95 STEAL

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-steal-allen.jpg

Allen doesn't get the steal opportunities like other players on this list, but still picks pockets at a high rate according to Synergy Sports.

4. RAJON RONDO
BOSTON CELTICS
92 STEAL

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-steal-rondo.jpg

Rondo had a down year by his standards, but still has a nose for the ball thanks to his large hands and length at the point guard position.

5. KAWHI LEONARD
SAN ANTONIO SPURS
91 STEAL

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-steal-leonard.jpg

Leonard is NBA LIVE 15's best on-ball defender and a top-ten stealer in his own right, averaging 1.73 in 66 games last season.

1. RUSSELL WESTBROOK
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
97 SPD

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-speed-westbrook.jpg

After two surgeries, Westbrook returned after the All-Star Break showing the same explosiveness that made him one of the league's most exciting players. He moves just as fast with the ball as he does without it.

2t. JOHN WALL
WASHINGTON WIZARDS
96 SPD

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-speed-wall.jpg

Any player that's attempted to defend John Wall can attest to both his pure speed and quickness. He's put some control on his athleticism, but is still a burner on the court.

2t. ERIC BLEDSOE
PHOENIX SUNS
96 SPD

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-speed-bledsoe.jpg

Bledsoe looks to have been a perfect fit for the wide-open Suns. With Isaiah Thomas coming aboard, the Suns look to have the fastest backcourt in the league.

2t. DERRICK ROSE
CHICAGO BULLS
96 SPD

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-speed-rose.jpg

While Rose is still rusty in other aspects of his game, he looks to have kept his speed after a lengthy hiatus. Here's to a healthy season, Mr. Rose.

5. TY LAWSON
DENVER NUGGETS
95 SPD

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-speed-lawson.jpg

Lawson , one of the league's fastest players, is currently recovering from a knee injury. However, chances are good that he'll remain one of the NBA's top speedsters.

The NBA has always been dominated by dynamic duos or, more recently, "Big Threes."

Here are the five best teammate duos in NBA LIVE 15.

CHRIS PAUL & BLAKE GRIFFIN
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
185 OVR (PAUL - 94, GRIFFIN - 91)

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-duos-clippers.jpg

The backbone of Lob City has completely changed the culture of the entire Clippers organization. The Clippers are among the favorites in the Western Conference alongside San Antonio and Oklahoma City.

KEVIN DURANT & RUSSELL WESTBROOK
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
185 OVR (DURANT - 94, WESTBROOK - 91)

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-duos-thunder.jpg

OKC has been knocking at the door the last few seasons, but hasn't returned to the NBA Finals since their five-game loss in 2012. Is this the year?

LEBRON JAMES & KEVIN LOVE
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
185 OVR (JAMES - 95, LOVE - 90)

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-duos-cavs.jpg

The arrival of James and Love - along with incumbent point guard Kyrie Irving - makes the Cavaliers the favorite out of the Eastern Conference. Time will tell if they can win immediately.

JAMES HARDEN & DWIGHT HOWARD
HOUSTON ROCKETS
180 OVR (HARDEN - 90, HOWARD - 90)

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-duos-rockets.jpg

After a disappointing first-round exit in their first year together, Harden and Howard must navigate a brutal Western Conference without third scorer Chandler Parsons.

JOAKIM NOAH & DERRICK ROSE
CHICAGO BULLS
89 OVR (NOAH - 90, ROSE - 89)

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-duos-bulls.jpg

The Noah/Rose duo gets a reboot following Rose's injury setback in 2013-14. If both players stay healthy, the Bulls may finish with the league's best record.

Top Five Sixth Man (http://www.easports.com/nba-live/news/2014/best-sixth-man-player-ratings) (10/10):

Click SHOW to see the list.
Although they may come off the bench, the NBA's best Sixth Men often finish games thanks to the spark they provide on either end of the floor.

Here are the best Sixth Men in NBA LIVE 15.

1t. JAMAL CRAWFORD
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
83 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-sixth-man-crawford.jpg

The definition of "instant offense." The reigning NBA Sixth Man of the Year, Crawford is one of the game's most gifted scorers. He averaged 18.6 PPG despite starting just 26 games for the Clippers.

1t. MANU GINOBILI
SAN ANTONIO SPURS
83 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-sixth-man-ginobili.jpg

It almost seems unfair to classify Ginobili as a Sixth Man, considering the impact he's had as a four-time NBA Champion. Nevertheless, Ginobili has spent most of his career coming off the bench. His Hall-of-Fame credentials speak for themselves.

1t. TAJ GIBSON
CHICAGO BULLS
83 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-sixth-man-gibson.jpg

Perhaps no Sixth Man personifies his team's identity than Gibson, one of the league's best defensive bigs. Gibson started just eight games for the Bulls, but still played nearly 30 MPG en route to averages of 13 PPG and 6.8 RPG.

4. ISAIAH THOMAS
PHOENIX SUNS
82 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-sixth-man-thomas.jpg

After starting the majority of his time in Sacramento, the uber-talented Thomas will likely come off the bench for the Suns behind Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe. He averaged a career-high 20.3 PPG and 6.3 APG last year.

5. NICK YOUNG
LOS ANGELES LAKERS
81 OVR

http://www.easports.com/media/cache/full/content/dam/ea/easports/nbalive/news/1014/nba-live-ratings-sixth-man-young.jpg

Swaggy P enjoyed a career season in his first year with the Lakers, averaging nearly 18 PPG. Unfortunately, he's expected to miss the next 6-8 weeks due to a thumb injury.

LMFAO at Kobe being rated the #2 SG in the world. Kobe WAS great but he is a shell of his former self.

Definitely overrated, but I think that shows the weakness at that spot in the league and also that they have to cater to 'expectations' of users. Even if Kobe hasn't played much in a year plus, lots of people still think he's really good and want him to play like a star in-game.

Which is what makes ratings in sports games an absolute goddamn joke the majority of the time. It's nothing but bending over to the leagues and player associations and bending over for the fans and their "expectations". Expectations of the fans and what they "want" him to play like in the game shouldn't matter a single goddamn bit towards what how he is rated in game. It's basically saying that the ratings in Madden and NBA Live are on the same level and that sham shit of a vote for the All-Star game in all of pro sports, nothing but a goddamn popularity contest, stats/actual performance be damned.

Instead of rating players how the NFLPA wants them rated or how the fans "expect" them to be rated to match their homer opinions of declining or overrated players on their favorite NBA teams, EA should try pulling the dick out of their mouth and try making logical ratings for a change.

I honestly was trying to think of a better other 2 Guards that were better than him.

Even at his age and after this injury, he will come back better than those behind him. And he still plays better Defense than James Harden...
