Despite not having a presence at E3, NBA Live 15 took advantage of the calm before the storm Monday morning and provided a first look at the improved player likenesses and visuals coming to the game this October.
One of the most common complaints in regards to NBA Live 14 were player likenesses, as screenshots of players including LeBron James (http://www.pageqsports.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/LeBron-James-NBA-Live-2k-14.jpg) and Russell Westbrook (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BmwdUH-CYAAfouD.jpg:large) were often the butt of jokes in social media and game reviews.
The first screenshot of NBA Live 15 showcased the result of new face-scanning technology at EA Tiburon with realistic in-game images of Paul George, Tony Parker, Rajon Rondo, James Harden, Blake Griffin, and Stephen Curry. Along with the screenshot is a video detailing the new face-scan technology.

Last Thursday, NBA Live Executive Producer Sean O'Brien published an open letter to the Live community (http://www.thegamingtailgate.com/forums/showthread.php?8121-NBA-Live-15-Open-Letter-from-Sean-O-Brien) laying out the plan and goals for the Live 15 development team. The next few weeks will be spent showcasing the improved visuals coming to the game with gameplay information beginning their reveal in July.
