Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you can buy Varsity and All-American packs with coins as well. At least on PS3, there is a second option on the packs, Varsity being 5000 coins I believe and All-American being 7500.

Happens all the time. I back out of ultimate team and reload it and it usually does the trick.

I buy some packs and with a team at 95 OVR, there's not very good odds of pulling a new starter. So I worked last week on putting a lot of cards I won't use on the AH. I ended up earning 45k from auctions in the last week alone, up to 93k total.

I'd also add that if someone is willing to spend any cash on the mode, use money for packs and coins (from auctions/challenges) to buy individual cards from the AH. They are in AA packs and I think also in promo packs (Heisman Packs, etc.).

LOL yeah no wonder this god forsaken mode is in every title now. whatever floats the masses boat i suppose. i played the mode for trophies and i log in on saturdays just to get the free pack incase i get a card someone here might want.

So far, the most I've gotten for a card is 25k for Jarvis Jones. I've been tracking via spreadsheet lately and the majority of my packs are resulting in less coins on auction than it took to buy it. (I won't spend real money, just keep earning 7500 coins and buying 1 pack every day or 2 with those) Sucks cause I don't care about my rating. I just want to make coins off of them. I'm just going for an all FSU team. (Sanders, Floyd and Buckley will never end up on my roster at this rate, lol)

I think your best hope may be for them to add a HH collection. I would assume that'd finally make most of the HH cards have some value again.

I keep posting these freshman gold cards hoping someone does the OPPOSITE of what you said. Doesnt realize I'm selling a gold adrian peterson and not elite, lol. (I'll actually feel bad if it works)

I got Warrick Dunn and Charlie Ward for both under 10k. That said Derrick Brooks, Deion Sanders, and Peter Warrick are RIDICULOUSLY over valued.

Not to mention Graham Gano for 2500. That said for a UT, Gold Janikowski is better as he has 99 KPW where as Elite SeaBass has 98.

(Actually, I paid 14k for Dunn, but it was probably the same day I saw he was finally available, so still a good deal, lol) I use Janikowski also, but mostly because I fell in love with him when he laid the biggest hit of the game on an NC State player on a botched PAT snap.

Yeah Gold Janikowski will always be my kicker, unless another card comes out with 105 KPW.

The Jarvis Jones that is rated 95 OVR is pretty sweet. I wish I would have kept it but I sold it for well over 6 figures and bought 3 or 4 guys with it so it worked out.
