Melo having a tough game after starting 4-4 (2-10 since then).

Jeff Green is showing more of what he's given the Celtics since Rondo went down (20 points in the 1st half so far).

I want to know what dumbass made up the playoff schedule. It is so stupid. Looking at just Golden State-Denver for example, they played game 1 last night. They don't play game 2 until Tuesday and game 3 until Friday. How the hell is either team supposed to build up any momentum when it's three days before they even return to the damn court for the next game?

Celtics-Knicks are just as stupid. They played game one yesterday. If they go the entire length, they won't play game 7 until Sunday May 5th, two entire damn weeks after the start of the series. All of the series are that way. Start either yesterday or today, end two weeks from now on either May 4th or May 5th. There is no reason for them to be that spread out all to hell.

TV, sir. They want as many games on tv as possible. You can only play a few during the weekdays because people gotta work.

True. Still stupid as hell. How the hell are the Warriors or Nuggets supposed to gain momentum when it takes an entire full week to play three damn games? Any momentum you gain from the previous game will be lost by waiting three days just to play the next game. The fact that it's going to take nearly two whole months just to get through the entire playoffs is a joke.

They should do double headers during the week. Wednesday for example, they have Rockets-Thunder on TNT at 7pm, Hawks-Pacers on NBA TV at 7:30pm and Lakers-Spurs on TNT at 9:30pm. Put a fourth game on NBA TV at 10pm Wednesday night. Do the same thing for all weekdays. A double header each day, 7/9:30 on TNT, 7:30/10 on NBA TV. Then once you get to the conference semis, you can work the schedule better so each game is in their own time slot. Problem solved. The games are closer to each other in the first round so teams can actually build up and keep momentum throughout the series, it doesn't take two weeks to play a whole 8 series, and it doesn't take two months to play the entire damn playoffs.

I'm sure the NBA could give a damn about momentum. I'm sure they'd prefer for every series to go 7 for the "drama." A team getting hot and sweeping means less eyes on that series. Less eyes, less moolah. From a common man's POV, yeah, it's dumb to play 3 or 4 days later but for the NBA, getting you to watch every game of every (hopefully drwn out) series is far worth the long breaks.

Which is exactly why, outside of Denver Nuggets games, I couldn't give two shits about the NBA or the rest of its playoffs. Because Stern is a fucktard and runs the NBA like one. The only way I even know what is going on is from the scores page on ESPN.com. Otherwise, the NBA gets 0 viewing time from me outside of Nuggets games.

Surprise, surprise, Miami is moving on. Up 3-0, Bucks have no chance. Bulls-Nets still battling for the 2-1 lead with a couple seconds left. Now to see if the Grizzlies can hold on for the win tonight and get back in the series, or if they'll fold.

Well, the NBA not giving a damn about momentum screwed Denver the other night. Their shooting was off all night and ended up getting whipped because of that douchetard Stern.

After the Warriors knocked off the Nuggets to advance into the second round of the playoffs . Mark Jackson‘s old buddy Reggie Miller went back into the Warriors locker room to congratulate his friend and team on the their success. In what was probably the coolest Reggie Miller moment in a long time cause he said “sh!t” on TV.

Every? Nope, you missed the Spurs/Knicks series in 1999 which has a higher rating than the past 8 championships (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Basketball_Association_Nielsen_ratings#NB C_.281991.E2.80.932002.29). Not that any of this matters to a Spurs fan. We like that fact that in the four trips to the NBA Championship, we walked away with four titles.

I hate the Spurs and the Heat. How hard is that to understand? The Spurs have two of the five biggest whiners in the game (Duncan and Parker) and the Heat have the other three. It's gonna be a contest of who the refs decide to suck off the most (my bet is the Heat because Lewhine can't be wrong).

The Heat's "offense" is like watching paint dry (high pick and roll screen to death) and, while the Spurs used to play the game correctly (low post offense that forces double teams that leave 3point shooters open), it's not nearly as effective as it used to be because Duncan is a shadow of his former self so, they've basically just started doing the most boring "offense" on the planet as well. The only decent player on their whole team is Parker and he's not good enough to take someone off the dribble one on one, so they have to use the same old tired pick and roll to do anything offensively.

Having watched quite a bit of Green in college I'm surprised he has turned himself into a good NBA 3 point shooter. He was pretty inconsistent from the college 3 line so working on his shot to the point he is a 40%+ shooter from the NBA line is no small task.

Spurs blew it, they had their chance to put em away. The should have kept feeding the rock into Duncan the second half. Manu needs to make up for an atrocious game 6.

Or they should have made some free throws in the last minute.

I saw choke on his face. Bricks and turnovers inside one minute to go in regulation should have cost him, but he was bailed out by offensive rebounding and Ray Allen.

Never fails to crack me up.

If Lebron had lost last night he would've been called a choke artist and Only one ring. But when he wins its because the NBA is rigged and not because he went beast in the 4th quarter. And anyone who wants the Heat to win are bandwagoners but everyone and their mama on the spurs tip is a real NBA fan.

Just get off Lebron's dick already. Jesus. Lebron does what any superstar is SUPPOSED TO DO, and people want to crown him the best ever. No other superstar not named Lebron James or Dwayne Wade gets WIDE OPEN jumpers because teams don't respect their shooting ability. What a waste of talent by both of those men.

Nevertheless, the Heat only won because half of the playoff teams were missing integral parts of their team because of injuries. The Heat would have lost to the fuckin' Bulls if Rose and Dang weren't injured. San Antonio wouldn't have even been in the Finals if Westbrook wasn't injured.

The only good thing about this Finals is Miami clearly wasted their money on Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade. God I hope they're dumb enough to pay them again instead of getting real talent on their team.

And, the only good thing about this playoffs was watching Golden State emerge as a young hungry team with the talent to win it all and watch Mark Jackson coach his ass off.

Only problem with your rant/overreaction, is I couldn't give two shits about Lebron. It just cracks me up the double standards people have when it comes to Lebron and the Heat. That's all. Now have I preferred to see the Heat win the last two seasons, as opposed to the Spurs and Thunder? Sure. But that's just my way of giving a middle finger to all the whiny fucktards from the last couple years since Lebron left Cleveland. They wouldn't stop crying, bitching and moaning, so I did take some pleasure from watching those fucktards get Lebron/the Heat winning titles shoved down their throats. Other than that, couldn't care less about Lebron/the Heat. Nuggets are the only team I give a damn about.

And basically, you're doing the exact same thing. Finding excuses for why Miami won, claiming they wouldn't have if this or that were different. Guess what, shit happens! Teams have injuries. It happens all the fucking time. It's called what teams do to overcome the adversity of their injuries. So what if Miami played a weakened Chicago team, or San Antonio a weakened OKC. Guess what, they still had to get the job done and did what they had to do to get the job done.

So what was the excuse for Oklahoma City getting bitchslapped last year? What was the excuse for Indiana fucking the bed against Miami? If Memphis is so good, why did they get bent over and reamed by San Antonio? Same with Golden State? Westbrook may be a good player, but one player would not have saved OKC from getting their asses thrown out by Memphis. It might have actually gone longer than a 5 game ass-whooping, but Westbrook alone wouldn't have changed things. Rose wouldn't have saved Chicago. And if they needed Rose so badly, that dumb fucker could have come back instead of sitting on the bench while cleared by the team doctor and staff for over two months. Instead he's nothing but a pussy too afraid to suit up.

You sit there telling me to get off Lebron's dick just because I don't sit there hating on Lebron and the Heat 24/7, and yet you do nothing but sit there nonstop finding anything, even the most fucking stupid fucktarded reasons, to heat on Lebron and the Heat. And what are you gonna be bitching about next year if Miami wins a third in a row?

SO much hate in the post above......you say the only made it because injuries to players on other teams. Well injuries are part of the game and happen to everyone. Its always gonna be IF this IF that, the Heat payed the money to get these guys and its paying off for them. If Kobe and the Lakers would have made it and won we wouldnt be hearing about how they paid this for Howard and this for Nash to for this super team it would be how great of a player Kobe is and how he led his team to a Championship.

You clearly didn't read what I posted, but that's because you enjoy playing devil's advocate to anyone that dislikes Lebron.

I GUARANTEE you that, if the Heat don't do something to shore up their inside game, they're not going to be back in the Finals (unless major injures prevent the Bulls and the Pacers from getting better).

As for why the Bulls and Pacers didn't beat the Heat, both teams were missing their leader scorer from a season ago for the entire season. Rather difficult to make up for that sometimes, don't ya think?

As for the Thunder not doing well, well, when you lose the main piece of your offense that your entire offense is built around (Westbrook dribble drive to the paint), it's rather difficult to cope with that isn't it?

As for Memphis, their dumb ass GM traded away their leading scorer for a bunch of scrubs because he wanted to save money. It's a wonder they made it as far as they did (defense does wonders).

And, bringing up Golden State is just silly. They were a Cinderella team if there has every been one in the NBA playoffs. I would have loved seeing the Heat try to chase them around though they definitely were in trouble as soon as they lost David Lee.

I tell you to get off Lebron's dick because you're saying he went "beast mode" by making open jump shots because the Spurs were giving them to him because HE DOESN'T HAVE A CONSISTENT JUMP SHOT. How in the world he can be considered the best player in the world without a consistent jump shot blows my fuckin' mind. I've NEVER seen a player of his skill played off by his man like that because the scouting report clearly says let him shoot jumpers all day because he can't hurt you nearly as bad as letting him drive to the basket. How can he not take advantage of that every game? He should have 30+ points a game every game with that type of defense on him. You know why? Because the scouting report is correct.

If anyone went "beast mode" it was Shane Battier. Lebron better be suckin' his dick because, without Battier, he wouldn't have either ring.

And, of course, what does ESPN start spinning IMMEDIATELY after the Heat win this one? Lebron is the BEST EVER. THE BEST EVER?!?! Get the fuck out of here with that shit.

And I am actually a LeBron fan, but not a Miami Heat fan. So I am far from a LeBron hater, I was actually a Spurs and Tim Duncan hater. I just like to call it like I see it. This series I gained a new respect for Tim Duncan and lost some for LeBron. Tim Duncan played the best games of his career in my eyes. He basically showed no one on the Heat can defend him and showed his ass out on defense. LeBron got exposed, you can't be the best player in the world and be afraid to shoot. Stephen Jackson even called him out about it on First Take. As far as Manu, how do you go from being the X-Factor for the Spurs to turning the ball over every play and just jacking up three's???
