In the end it was exactly what I expected. A strong running team with a good defense. Eddie George is a beat to bring down and it too everything I could to keep the running game in check (if you can call giving up 160 yards in check).

I like what you've created. Great Job.

I've made a couple of tweaks here and there, but nothing major. Thanks for the feedback, Oneback. I'll see what other people think overnight and tomorrow and then if there aren't any changes necessary I'll let you know they're "final".

Biggest tweak I had to make so far is I discovered that the game was interpreting Ohio State's official scarlet color (what the university's official color is, which is in my logo, not the one built into the game) as pink. So my entire crowd was pink. Ewwwwwwwwwwwww.

EDIT: Oneback, did you feel the defense was good-but-not-great? That's what I was hoping to end up with. After all, they did give up 313 yards to Tshimanga Biakabutuka ...

Ending up with an A Offense and B+ Defense is pretty much exactly what I was expecting.

I sure as hell hope Chris Whaley plays like that this season....once the running game got going....everything got easy....Whaley will definitely be my starter and it was nice to FINALLY have a solid game with Garrett Gilbert without Connor Wood coming in to steal the show.

That is probably how I would classify the defense. I was able to throw the ball but wasn't able to run it as much as I would have liked. I think that is more on the CPU though in that everytime I would call a run I would have 9 guys in the box.

They're done. Here's what to do ...

Go to Teambuilder. I believe you've already downloaded them, so hit X and do Check for School Update.
Choose Preview Roster. Apparently you can't look at the roster after downloading (ugh).
Confirm QB Joe Germaine = True Soph. C Rob Murphy = True Fresh. SS Raney Schauer has 60 in Pursuit.

If that's what you get, you have the correct download. So back out from the roster, hit X again and select Update and Save School. Good to go.

EDIT: I believe Modified Time should read 07/23 9:36 PM, but I can't tell what that time is set by.

Got it downloaded.

FYI, as you're creating the OD, on the same menu where you set the OD name, quarter length, etc. are options for Team Builder & Custom Conferences.

So, even after all that effort, one of the main players I was wanting to be a True Freshmen came in as a redshirt. Despite the fact that he's a true on your download (he was one of the players you checked) and mine. I'll live with it, but damn is that frustrating.

Especially when I see the entirety of my WR corps as True players, and the entirety of my CBs being Redshirts. Wtf.

I'm laughing about this because otherwise I feel like I'm going to cry, lol. Just discovered that I got the class of two of my players completely wrong. Somehow ... I don't know how, but I guess I just forgot to change it. That's originally what I was going to look though tonight, then the Redshirt thing completely derailed me.

Oh well ... that's how it goes, I suppose.

So yeah ... if you guys were willing / found another reason to start over, so I could get those two players to the right class (they've already been fixed on TB), I would be very appreciative. But I'm certainly not going to ask anyone to do that. My mistake, after all.

In SBCOL, I forgot to change the class of my WR. EA made him a senior but he should be a true sophomore :/.Yep, that's exactly what it is. Shawn Springs, my starting CB, replaced Chimdi Chekwa. Chekwa is a Senior. Springs was a true Sophomore. I apparently was trying to go so fast in editing the ratings that I forgot to switch him.

And there's a BIG difference between an 86 OVR Senior and an 86 OVR Sophomore.
