Games I will be looking at with interest

Rutgers at South Florida
Washington State at UNLV (Without Leach involved this would be a no)

Sat.
Wake Forest at No. 5 Florida State
Arkansas State at Nebraska (three admins walk into this one, how many will walk out a winner?) Two
No. 1 Alabama at Arkansas
North Carolina at No. 19 Louisville
Navy at Penn State
No. 18 Florida at No. 23 Tennessee
Arizona State at Missouri
No. 2 USC at No. 21 Stanford
No. 20 Notre Dame at No. 10 Michigan State
No. 14 Texas at Ole Miss
No. 25 Brigham Young at Utah

Good time to have a BYE week for OU. We need all the practice time we can get before the K-State game.

Only getting worse a Wiscy! Utah State could be sniffing that upset and go to 3-0.

It took 1 week for the theme to come full circle. Last week Missouri and A&M were being welcomed to the SEC as the new kids on the block. All the talk for them was how they would need to step up to the plate to fill the big SEC shoes.

Now ESPN is pitching it like this....ASU is making the trip to go up against the giant SEC....by they way...they're playing Missouri. I guess one week is the difference, now Missouri IS the SEC.... :dunno:

There we go, right week. :fp:

Louisiana-Monroe going for back to back over the SEC. Knocked off Arkansas last week, and currently has a 14-7 lead over Auburn late in the 2nd quarter.

Spoke too soon, it's now 14-14 between Louisiana-Monroe and Auburn. :D

Either :Louisiana: is no :UL_Monroe: or :Oklahoma_State: is no :Arkansas:. Cajuns getting smoked!

Damnit. :( ULM misses a 37 yard field goal. Auburn kicks a 35 yard field goal and the upset bid is over. :(

Utah St grabs early lead at Wisconsin. :P Might be the best Aggie team in the nation. :D

:SMH: @ :Southern_Miss:

The new regime is off to an awful start. The dumb QB controversy isn't helping. Campbell, the Jr., is clearly able to run the offense better at this point so he should be the QB. Alford will kill it next year or the year after but this year is not his year.

I think Colorado could be the worst BCS team in college football history.

Down 35-0 in the 1st Qtr to Fresno St. :smh:

Yikes, yeah the Buffs would have been better suited for the WAC. Worst thing is that the week before Sacramento St beat them, Sac St got the butts handed to them by NM State. So they might not even be competitive in the WAC.

KSU was obviously looking ahead to OU, I have watched some of this game and North Texas is not very good yet within a score of KSU.

The mighty Aggies are now up 14-3 in Madison as the Wiscy fans are booing their players. Classy!

:USC: is playing terrible right now. with center Khaled Holmes out of the lineup, practically all of the linemen dont know what they're doing.

Another Sun-Belt team takes down another SEC team as Western Kentucky beats Kentucky 32-31 as they do the WR screen pass back to the QB for the 2 point conversion in OT.

I'll say it again, FUCK THE SEC.

1. Sun Belt
2. SEC

ULM knocks off #8 Arkansas, Western Kentucky takes down Kentucky, and ULM takes Auburn to overtime and the brink of defeat, losing by a field goal.

And another FCS upset, although calling it an upset may be an insult to the FCS team, as Cal Poly beats Wyoming 24-22. And damn, Sam Houston State had a 20-10 halftime lead over Baylor. Baylor eventually won 48-23, but bet they're missing RGIII right now. :D San Diego State got taken to the brink, beating North Dakota 49-41.

I'm not even the least bit surprised about USC losing. Playing at Stanford, it was almost a given to happen.

And damn you Utah State. Lost 16-14 to Bucky, and would have won if they hadn't missed a late field goal attempt. :smh:

As much as I hate to applaud the Irish that defense, especially against the run, looked really tough. Definitely makes that ND/Stanford game even more interesting with the ground game they had against USC tonight. Then they head down to Norman to play the OU offense, formerly known as Jekyll and Hyde as this year they look more like Heckle and Jeckle (large applause for anyone that gets that reference).

1-1, Defense again looked great! Of course it was against SMU, but a win's a win. I hope Manziel learns how to read his progressions. It's cool and all how he can run around like a wild man but one big hit and he's out. He leads with his head and shoulder, never slides, runs around with the ball palmed like Michael Jordan, it's just asking for a turnover. Showers actually came in towards the end and he looked better as an Air Raid passer. Manziel looks for the deep ball, either throws it and hopes it works out or takes off running. There were multiple short-quick passes over the middle that he never even looked at.

The "smart" powers that be that printed out the schedule here show us playing South Carolina St at home this weekend, the problem is they used South Carolina Gamecocks logo, so we probably have a bunch of people thinking the 'ol ball coach is coming to town. It's amazing how poor proof reading can be, how in the world do they get the wrong logo?

I'm thinking their image looks a little more like this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/14/SC_State_Univ_Logo.svg/200px-SC_State_Univ_Logo.svg.png
