Welcome to the IronDragonU (my locker name) roster thread, when I started this on July 14th, I never saw this turning into what it is now, thank you all.

How to get the roster:
NOTE: You do not need to add me as a friend to get these. I get alot of these requests and deny them, I would love to add people but I just add people who are friends from these sites and people in my dynasties and then friends I see on a daily basis. My friends list is also getting close to being full, if it caps at 100.

Team Management > Roster Sharing > Download > Enter Online ID > type in 'IronDragonU' (no spaces) and download.

If you have suggestions about the rosters (missing players, transfers I've missed etc.), feel free to post.

First and formost, thanks so much to steelerfan for his EXCELLENT work on these rosters. His rosters are incredible for online play and I use them myself. Get them under the locker name 'gamingtailgate' if you haven't already. My edits are based of this base roster (just names).

What's the purpose of these rosters? These rosters are for dynasties, online dynasties, to fix the mistakes that EA have made for use for anytime that is not offline play, otherwise, you may have some messed up names online so that's why I advise the 'gamingtailgate' steelerfan original roster. My rosters aren't doing equipment changes.. I just want to fix up transfers, missing players, some ratings while being unbiased, gonna fix the snubs, for sure. Maybe during the season I'll do ratings, we'll see.

Why are you keeping track of changes? Easter eggs (these are equipment changes that people would never notice; no fake players etc.) and to remember what I've done and to prevent roster stealing.. I mean, seriously, it's a free roster. I have "Easter eggs" spread out through this roster and I've made alot of changes I haven't seen mentioned by other roster makers. Like I said, it's a free roster, but I'd like to squash someone if anyone tries to charge for it. Another reason is to show people what I've done besides saying "yeah, I've changed a few players ratings, that one guy is in, and some other fixes." It's also a way for people to see if a certain player was added/changed etc.

Suggestions for rosters: Yes, send them in, post them here, I'm not huge on number changes for freshman and such, but if there is like an all-american player etc. I'm missing tell me about them and I'll get them in.

Current version in locker: 1.3 (Released September 25th, 2010 at 1:30pm)

Here's what I posted for luvtotha9s over on TraditionFootball regarding Arkansas State. Use them however you wish.
I'm not a very big stickler but here are my Arkansas State notes if you can use them.

QB RSFr - Phillip Butterfield (http://www.astateredwolves.com/ViewArticle.dbml?&DB_OEM_ID=7200&ATCLID=3740933) is not on the EA roster - 3* recruit by both Scout (http://arkansas.scout.com/a.z?s=10&p=8&c=1&nid=3603058) & Rivals (http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Phillip-Butterfield-60494). Will compete with RSSo Aplin for the starting job.

HB Fr - Sirgregory Thornton (http://www.astateredwolves.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=35789&SPID=2798&DB_OEM_ID=7200&ATCLID=204965356&Q_SEASON=2010) - Not on EA's roster. Replace HB#24 with him. 2* by both Scout & Rivals. Possible playing time as true freshman.

FB #42 - Jeff Blake (http://www.astateredwolves.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=35789&SPID=2798&DB_OEM_ID=7200&ATCLID=1514369&Q_SEASON=2010) - New offense doesn't use FBs, moved to TE in spring.

FB #43 - Jermaine Robertson (http://www.astateredwolves.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=35789&SPID=2798&DB_OEM_ID=7200&ATCLID=1138282&Q_SEASON=2010) - New offense doesn't use FBs, moved to HB in spring.

WR #17 - Allen Muse (http://www.astateredwolves.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=35789&SPID=2798&DB_OEM_ID=7200&ATCLID=1514390&Q_SEASON=2010) - listed as Sr, should be true So.

DT #90 - Bryan Hall (http://www.astateredwolves.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=35789&SPID=2798&DB_OEM_ID=7200&ATCLID=1097397&Q_SEASON=2010) - Underrated by EA... considered by NFL scouts to be our best prospect. Preseason coverage (http://www.kait8.com/Global/story.asp?S=12618283). IMO should be 80OVR or better.

DT RSFr - Derek Johnson (http://www.mackbrown-texasfootball.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/johnson_derek00.html) - Transferring from Texas to ASU to be closer to family (http://www.jonesborosun.com/archived_story.php?ID=43879). 4* by Rivals (http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Derek-Johnson-78180), 3* by Scout (http://texas.scout.com/a.z?s=110&p=8&c=1&nid=3400015).

OLB #23 - Demario Davis (http://www.astateredwolves.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=35789&SPID=2798&DB_OEM_ID=7200&ATCLID=1138211&Q_SEASON=2010) - Is white on EA roster, should be black.

Number changes only:
Pos|EA #|Name|Real#
HB|#25|Frankie Jackson|#6
WR|#27|Taylor Stockemer|#2
MLB|#55|Nathan Herrold|#40

I might have missed some but that covers the primary ones.

I'm not sure yet. I'd like to get a final pre-season roster out by sometime next week.. no more than 4-5 days, I'd hope.

However, after tonight I won't be updating until Saturday afternoon again.

In my opinion even that is too high. I knowthat they have some good prospects on defense, but honestly they have no experience which should account for something. Heck I was a good prospect once, now I'm old, fat, married, have two children, one dog and often find myself scratching things I shouldn't in public. Does this mean I'm a 99 overall to my wife? I'm sure she will debate that.

Just wanted to say these are the best base set rosters I have seen. By far.

I have some corrections and what not for Notre Dame.

Tommy Rees should be on the roster as QB. He's a freshman.
http://hsillinois.scout.com/a.z?s=220&p=8&c=1&nid=4363382

John Goodman should be a WR on the team. He wears #81. He's most likely going to see quite a bit of playing time this season.
http://www.und.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/goodman_john00.html

Dan Wenger should be on the roster as well. He's going to be the starting center this season.
http://www.und.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/wenger_dan00.html

Chris Stewart should also be on the roster as well. He's a stud and will be the starting LG.
http://www.und.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/stewart_chris00.html

Ethan Johnson should be moved to DE and wear #90.(He changed numbers this offseason)

WR Tailer Jones should wear #7.

Here's a pretty good depth chart from this Spring.

http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/328535/2010_spring_depth_chart.png

For Illinois Martez Wilson needs to be on the roster as a starter at Middle Linebacker. He's an impact player so I would edit Ian Thomas into Wilson and create Ian Thomas over so Wilson is the impact player. Either way though Wilson needs to be on the roster.

Have an accurate roster before the start of the season, fix the snubs, get the missing players in, transfers in, etc. I just want a good roster for the community to use and for dynasties. I don't know what I'll do when the season starts.

I don't need help with doing these, but I can always use tips and people pointing out things that I haven't gotten yet.

Right on. Is the current roster in your vault the one with the most recent ND changes? If not when will that one be up for download?

I'll check some of the teams I'm more familiar with after I download version 1.04 and see if anything jumps out at me as missing.

No, 1.04 isn't out yet. I've gotten some more updates submitted to me, and I have some ratings that I have to consider changing. Players that stick out are the ones on the preseason watch lists.

Nice, I believe Martez Wilson is #2 though. Also, Stewart should be rated higher than Wenger. Stewart is a ebast is easily the the best lineman on Notre Dame. Nothing I can't edit myself when I'm playing but just thought I'd throw it out there.

Additions look great though!

That number is taken by Nathan Scheelhaase, so I gave him the closest possible. I'll up Stewart's rating at some point.

That sucks..you can't give two guys the same number unless it's pre programmed into the game like Te'o and Allen o Notre Dame or Rudoplh and Ethan Johnson(before Johnson swtiched numbers?)

That blows.

Yeah, wish there were multiple #s.

Since Scheelhaase is a starting freshman QB, I'd guess I'd prefer for him to have the number.

Are you manually resetting depth charts or auto resetting depth charts? Some of my depth charts have been wild, with FS's as second string LB's and things like that. My only concern with these rosters.

Ah crap, I've forgotten about most of the depth charts.. I'm thinking of the PS2 days where it fixed itself, so looks like I'll be fixing that next. I've done some teams, but not all.

Also some of that is the game putting the players there if there aren't enough players at that position to fill up the depth chart. On Temple for example, however, Vaughn Charlton used to be a QB before switching to TE this year, and he is Temple's 3rd-string/emergency QB so that's why he remains there.

yea, im using him as my real QB in my temple OD right now since his THP and THA are better than the starter :smh: his awr makes playing on the road a headache with all the squiggles though.

Arkansas Razorback race updates needed:
Dominquez LT Light -> Medium
Nash RE Light -> Dark
Harris LOLB Light -> Dark
Mitchell FS Light -> Dark and he should also be 6'1" not 6'7" lol

Arkansas State Red Wolves race updates:
Samuel TE Light -> Dark (He is also number 86 6'2" 225)
Chavis RE Light -> Dark
Davis LOLB Light -> Dark

I may have missed one or two but these jumped out at me.

Gah, I need to make Chester Stewart's ratings better. That's one thing I've forgotten. Will get the Ark/Ark St. changes in.

Temple's new depth chart at QB looks like this:
#7 Chester Stewart, rJR
#11 Chris Coyer, rFR
#12 Connor Reilly, FR

Going by how they come out as QBs it would now go Stewart, Charlton (TE), Coyer, and then Reilly, so Stewart is now better.

Curious, why is Tony Gregory rated higher than David Wilson for VT? Gregory hasn't even stepped on the field. Unless there's some hype I don't know about.

And I think Dyrell Roberts should be faster than Jarrett Boykin. Also read an article that said Roc Carmichael and David Wilson were the fastest players on the team.

Weslye Saunders TE for South Carolina is rated as the #2 TE for the draft next year and is a 78 with 68 speed. Please fix this.

Also, Cliff Matthews is a terror for South Carolina and is rated fairly low as well.

South Carolina really got screwed on D overall, any changes to improve the defense would be appreciated.

Just a quick few corrections for SDSU I noticed:

- WR #18 Doug Deakin should be Vincent Brown #80 (Change weight to 195, hometown to Rancho Cucamonga). It's odd that Brown got left off in the first place, from these and Brantley4Heisman's PS3 rosters, considering he's the star player, and widely considered one of the top WRs in the nation.

- RB Brandon Sullivan should be moved to FB

- FB DJ Shields should be moved to TE behind Umuolo.

- RB Ronnie Hillman #22 should be added, and made starting RB. Should be rated 78

- DE Ernie Lawson should be starting DE.

He is the next stud Badger TE- think Garrett Graham more than Beckham though. Little bit more a blocker, more TE like speed. 75 OV ish

QB Phillips is out for the year- depth chart change.

FB- Davidson- he didn't play last season. Ewing (i have at 75) is more likely to see FB time than him. #3 Behind Ewing and TE Byrne at FB. I would drop him across the board with blocking being his main strength (i have him at 72 ov now). but raise TAK from 40- most FB in general are on ST.

K Welch- raise KACC +2, awr also. His OV you want to target at 86. PS #2 B10 Kicker.

ND
QB Nate Montana- he is a hit or miss. I think increase him to mid 60s. I have seen him the backup QB some sources. He is supposedly accurate- maybe focus on that and awr a little.

QB could switch Massa to Tommy Rees- i have also seen him listed the #2. http://www.und.com/sports/m-footbl/m...s_tommy00.html accurate and decent feet.

QB Crist- break tak- 56, trk 56, elu 40.

FB- Hughes- he is power back who has produced some- increase truck, btk, etc

WR- John Goodman needs to be created. I would probably boot Toma for him. #81 John Goodman, rSo (?), 6-3/205, fort wayne, ind. If i remember right- he can throw too. I have at 79 ov

CFN on him - Will John Goodman be ready to take on a bigger role? At 6-3 and 205 pounds, he’s big and has tremendous speed with the ability to play any of the three receiver spots. He’ll push hard for the open No. 3 job after a decent midseason stretch with six catches for 104 yards and a score, but he didn’t do anything over the other nine games. Quick enough to be used as a returner and occasionally getting the ball as a runner, he’s too athletic to not get the ball in his hands.

WR Deion Walker- Should be behind Goodman and Jones, probably Riddick too.

WR Floyd- Inj 78

WR Riddick- Tate like, quick. AGI increase, AWR. Good returner- RET increase

WR- S Evans- really didn't do much last year- i would probably drop him to 80

RT Zack Martin to LT- according to most sources i saw. Starter over Romine

LT Romine- INJ 82, ACC 72

RG Alex Bullard to RT

RG Trevor Robinson is probably the best Irish OL- i would improve him to 85 ish

LG- I don't see Chris Stewart or Andrew Nuss on the rosters. Stewart tends to be the starter in the information i see. Use LG Hernandez to create Stewart. #59, Senior, 6-5/344, spring, Texas. dark skin. I have Stewart 82 ov. Stewart is considered the second best OL. Nuss the backup at LG

LG Watt to RG- can drop ov- he is the backup

C Golic is third string from everyone i have seen- Should be rated 68
C Wenger is the back up. spd, agi, acc, awr could use improvement

NT Sean Cwynar is the #2- his awr is at 40 for some reason. He is more quick than strong.

NT Hafis Williams to RE

ROLB Teo to MLB should be rated 82-83
MLB Brian Smith to ROLB
ROLB Posluszny to MLB
MLB Anthony McDonald a slight increase- he is starting in the 3-4 behind Teo
LOLB Spond to ROLB
ROLB Steve Filer- #2 ROLB- i have no idea why he is a 58 OV. He is #2 ROLB and more 74-76 ish.

CB Walls and Gray are the likely starters. I have Gray 82, Walls 79 and Blanton 79. Walls is the most athletic of the group. They all have struggled with getting picks and coverage. AWR, play rec, pursuit, etc, etc.

SS H Smith- He is a hitter, increased TAK, Hit Power, coverage a little, awr. 84 OV i have him .

K Tauch- leg power 88.

P Turk- leg power 85. 38 average last year.

Overall, i have the OL a tad better, the CB a bit worse is how it shook down.

Gregory isn't even on my roster. Not sure where you're seeing him.

Boykin's 40 is faster than Roberts.

Not going to do anything to Saunders since he might not playing in 2010 due to his investigation.

Matthews is fine at 86.

Brown is on my roster as a starter.

Sullivan switched to FB.

Shields to TE.

Hillman created as a 75 OVR RB.

Lawson moved to DE and now a 73.

QBs:
I'd put Sunseri up to an 82 OVR. While unproven at this level, he's very talented and will have an opportunity to compete for the starting job next season. My guess is he'll be the starter given the current QBs.

Move Bostick down to an 82 OVR. He was a pretty big recruit for Pitt, but he can't get it done on the field. The fact that Sunseri, a FR(RS), passed him on the depth chart shows this.

Move Gray down to an 77 OVR, just so there aren't three 82 QBs on the roster. Gray is only a 3-star true FR. While he may compete as a future starter, I doubt he'll beat out Sunseri, unless Sunseri falters and Gray greatly outperforms him. Pitt usually plays the local kids over the out-of-staters, much else being equal.

Safeties:
FS E. Fields: I would up him to a 78 or 80 OVR. He should be rated higher than Tags, seeing as how he's a JR(RS) and has been the starter, until the UConn game (SS Holley started). I'm not sure why he didn't start. He was a big time recruit for Pitt, but has had a lot of off-the-field issues the past few seasons. He has all the physical gifts to be a star, but hasn't been able to get it done mentally. I think a 75 OVR is too low for him, seeing as how he's already a JR(RS) (only has one season left to progress in-game) and Tags is also a 75 and is only a SO.

SS DeCicco: If making Fields a 78/80, make DeCicco an 82/84. He leads the team in tackles.

I'd like to slow down the updates somewhat (not daily since most of the big issues are fixed (or so I think)), but since this roster update had alot of changes (when I list various - sometimes 10-15 for a team). But hey, 1.05 is live.

Version 1.05
Arizona State Added WR Brandon Smith (rSR, #2, 75 OVR - 6th year of eligibility)
Arkansas State various race fixes
Arkansas various race fixes
Florida Atlantic Xavier Stinson RB to FB (also supposed to start - up to 63 OVR)
Florida Atlantic Tony Moore year change (rSR to FR - No explanation here / also given some LB skills)
Michigan State various fixes
Michigan State Added QB Andrew Maxwell (rFR, #10, 75 OVR)
Oklahoma WR Jaz Reynolds ratings increase (80 to 83 - possible starter)
Oklahoma HB Mossis Madu changed to WR - I left him on the RB depth chart as a #4, just because he plays both positions.
Oklahoma FB Marshall Musil ratings increase (77 to 80 - should start at FB)
Oklahoma CB Ryan Caro changed to Demontre Hurst (who it should have been)
Ohio State WR James Louis ratings increase (75 to 77 OVR, planned to be #4 WR, maybe #3?)
Penn State Chaz Powell from WR to DB (no change at 82)
Penn State Brett Brackett from WR to TE (no change at 71)
Penn State Malcolm Willis height fix (5'5" to 5'11")
Penn State Devon Smith speed increase (85 to 92, ACC not touched at 97)
SDSU Ernie Lawson DT to RE (73 OVR)
SDSU Brandon Sullivan RB to FB (70 OVR)
SDSU Added RB Ronnie Hillman (rFR, #24, 75 OVR - starter)
SDSU DJ Shields FB to TE (67 OVR)
Temple Chester Stewart ratings increase (66 to 71)
Temple Vaughn Charlton number changed from 12 to 3
Temple Connor Reilly number changed from 6 to 12
Temple Added QB Chris Coyer (rFR, #11, 65 OVR)
USC Aaron Corp removed, Brett Kan added (rJR, #15, 63 OVR)
USC Brandon Carswell removed, De'Von Flournoy added (SO, #80, 75 OVR)

Hey bruh... thanks for all your work... I've had a rough start to NCAA '11.... OL playing slot on a roster from OS... 9s from TF being very precise with his (will be done for opening day)... you making these edits actually got me doing rosters on my own again (been dormant for 3-4 years once I found out people on the "internet" did the same thing)... I used your (steelerfans) roster as my starting point. It was so much easier to do rosters when I made 'em for myself.... got some pointers from a member in my league about USC and it took me a little over an hour to make all the changes, lol, hopefully I finish all the BCS conferences soon and will stop by and let you guys' know so y'all can check 'em out.

I'm using your roster update and loving it. I have a couple missing players that you might want to add.

1. You stated taking Jeremiah Masoli off of Oregon, but he is now playing for Kansas State as a WR and should be added there with the stats he was listed under with Oregon.

2. Texas is missing their starting TE, Barrett Mathews. He is a sophmore and said to have good hands, if that helps your progress at all.

3. Texas is also missing TE DJ Grant, who is competing to be either 2nd or 3rd string. He is said to have the best hands of the group, but he just recently converted to TE so is lacking in some of the blocking fundaments.

That's all I noticed, everything else looks fantastic. If I catch anything else as I log more time I'll let you know. I might try to get a solid rundown of the Big 12 conference and post it up here for you if I get the time. From a buddy of mine

USC Corrections:

B. Kan is a walk on QB - replace with De'Von Flournoy No. 1 at WR
J. Scroggins will likely wear No. 15
D. Morgan will wear No. 30, but is rehabbing off of ACL. Could replace him.
H. Simmons is a walk on FB - replace with Soma Vainuku No. 3 or 33 for now.
D. Ausberry could be moved to TE.
M. Ambles will wear No. 8 or No. 5 (just unretired by USC)
K. Graf will probably start RG.
B. Lewis will probably play LT.
J. Martinez will play LG.
G. Uko will likely wear No. 99
J. Casey should be rated in the 90s, best d-linemen SC has.
C. Tupou out for the year with an ACL injury. I'd leave him in though.
D. Kennard will play MLB.
S. Vehikite not Vekikite.
W. Andrew is a walk on - replace with a freshman TE, Randal Telfer or Christian Thomas
J. Campbell transferred to Louisville - replace with Hayes Pullard ROLB No. 51
A. Alonso is a walk on - replace with No. 15 LDE James Boyd
C. Romness is a walk on - replace with No. 2 Demetrius Wright at FS
B. Moore academic issues - replace with No. 21 Nickell Robey CB

Have you guys done any work on UCF's rosters? I can look through and make some suggestions. Brynn Harvey is injured for the start of the season (might miss first four games) and Brendan Kelly who is the starting FB on Carson's roster won the starting RB spot over Jonathan Davis who is a sophomore not a junior. Davis should be faster than 87, he's listed at having a 4.37 on his Scout page, but who knows if that's accurate.

Former Iowa RB Jeff Brinson transferred to UCF and was granted eligibility to play in 2010 so he might be a good addition, I think he's a RS. Soph. But I don't see him on Iowa and have no idea what to do with him so maybe he should be left off.

I moved Gaetjens to FB and suggest adding a freshmen TE named Justin Tukes, 6'5 225 4.7 40 yard.

I'm not doing rating changes unless players were snubbed or vastly overrated (like someone who has never started and is #3 on the depth chart in real life but is a 95 in game) etc.

Also Roh is an 83, his position was wrong by EA, and is a LB in real life, not a DE.

For the Forcier/Robinson situation, whoever the starter is will be 83 OVR and the backup will be an 82. Neither of these guys seem to play to the level of an 86 OVR would.

For your Ohio State suggestions, I don't know why I'd drop Herron if he and Saine will split carries, maybe I'll do a 93-93 OVR split for them, probably not. Tyler Moeller could arguably be better than Johnson in the ratings - I don't know why he'd drop.

CB Dre Kirkpatrick - Yes, he's a 5 star, but he's never had a significant role, yet he's the best CB on the game? No way. Prince Amukamara is only a 91 and many say he's the best prospect on the board for next April. Patrick Peterson is the best CB in the SEC and he's below Kirkpatrick.

DE Luther Davis- Has never started and is the #4 DE on the game? Has underachieve greatly in his career. Could have a good season, but has yet to do much of anything.

DT Josh Chapman- Was overshadowed by Cody, really good, but I don't know how he is #2DT. Not enough experience to give him that high a rating.

LOLB Jerrell Harris- Couldn't beat out Cory Reamer the last two years (an undrafted overachiever) and has yet to get a grasp of the defensive scheme. Should start, but single best SLB in game?

ROLB Courtney Upshaw- Solid started, but talent doesn't really stand out in any way.

For a defense that lost 8/9 of it's starters last year, they have the #1RDE, #4LDE, #2DT, #1LOLB, #1MLB, #2ROLB, #1CB, #1FS, & #1SS. This is insane. For a defense that lost 8/9 of it's starters last year, they have the #1RDE, #4LDE, #2DT, #1LOLB, #1MLB, #2ROLB, #1CB, #1FS, & #1SS. This is insane. The guys from North Carolina should get this kind of respect, if any. Would my edits be at least considered by the community? If so, I'll do post and do them.

All of these guys got dropped in the ratings a long time ago.. this is what you call too high with no experience. 1.02, I think, I got all of these guys..

Also Masoli doesn't play WR for Kansas State.. not sure where that came from.

Thanks again for all the work you put into the roster so far, and feel free to PM me if you need any more information.

Oh I meant Chris Harper from Oregon to K-State, not Masoli... my mistake.

Curious if you would like an excel listing of transfers, season ending injuries, academics, dismissals, etc?

The reason I ask is you are doing a great job on editing teams, but for USC, you move Shoemate, but still have Campbell, Jones, and Moore on the roster

Jeez.. I didn't really know that USC lost so many players to transfers until fixing their roster. 9 of the ~70 players on the original EA roster are gone. It was also hard to find replacements, but I got them. If there's someone I'm leaving off, Kan would be the first to go, as he's their 4th string rJR walk-on QB.

Here's what USC gets in this update:

USC David Ausberry WR to TE
USC Devon Kennard DE to OLB
USC Jordan Campbell removed, Added Christian Thomas (#45, FR, 73 OVR)
USC Jarvis Jones removed, Added Simione Vehikite (#36, rFR, 70 OVR)
USC Bryon Moore removed, Added Nickell Robey (#12, FR, 73 OVR)
USC Marshall Jones CB to FS
USC Uona Kaveinga removed, Added Marquis Simmons (#53, rFR, 74 OVR)
USC DeVon Flournoy ratings increase, number to #1 (75 to 82 - could start / will see very good time on the field)
USC T.J. Bryant number changed from 1 to 38
USC Glen Stanley OLB to MLB
USC Depth chart fixing

(and who knows there could be more.. it's along way until 12:00-1:00am)

Thanks a lot for these rosters guys!! I have a couple things on Tennessee's team.
(QB) Nash Nance is too good on the game, he wasn't even a prospect and was only signed to get Da'Rick Rogers to commit. THP and THA both need to go down.
(QB) Matt Simms arm strength is too low. He has an absolute cannon. My first post so I can't link but Chris Mortenson attended the Manning passing academy and raved about it. Greg McElroy quoted "I wish I had an arm like that".
(P) Matt Darr. Tn will carry two punters. Cunningham is really slow getting the ball out and Darr was the prep #1 punting prospect. I don't know who to scratch off the roster but he is more valuable to dynasty than some of the DB's on there now. I can't link him but he's listed on Rivals. He was a USC then Fresno State commit but they released him from his letter. He signed a month ago

Couple of CBs dismissed from Marshall, via espn.com.

"The dismissal earlier this week of starting CB DeQuan Bembry -- combined with the dismissal in April of CB T.J. Drakeford (15 career starts), who was arrested with Bembry in a bar incident that month -- leaves Marshall perilously thin at CB. "

No updates until at least Friday night unless I do a small important change update like 1.061 or something.

So I am not sure how much detail you want in updates. I know it can get overwhelming with everyone giving suggestions. A few things I noticed since the last update:

Kavario Middleton TE --- Off team for Washington, dismissed
Marques Simas WR --- Off team for Colorado, dismissed (which will be nice depth chart wise for Patterson)
The 3 UCLA freshman that were kicked of the team, still on UCLA, and LB Shirley already signed with Washington
Jeff Brinson, RB should be added to UCF, Iowa transfer who is eligible, will get a lot of playing time due to injury of starter

Let me know if you want more

Irondragon, I sent a PM, but not sure it went through, I have done a bnch of changes to the Syracuse roster on your most recent update 1.6, if you could check them out in my ealocker ejohnson221, or I have a Syracuse TeamBuilder with the correct roster, but the ratings are off a little bit if that makes it easier to look at. But on my file in ealocker I did all the equipment edits and a few position changes. Hope you take a look and implement them in your rosters! You've done a awesome job!!

Thanks ID for all of these updates. I have your current set and started a ND Dynasty with them yesterday. I was glad you gave Montana a boost because I lost Crist for 10 weeks with a dislocated elbow in my 3rd game, lol.

I'll keep getting your updates as you put them out. Thanks again!

If you haven't started your dynasty yet, you could wait until this update, because it gets alot of things fixed for alot of teams.

Also if you lurk this thread for updates, I do look around other boards and look at the mistakes people point out. ;)

OK, here's 30-40 minutes work so far.. just for a progress update..

Akron Shawn Lemon removed, Added Jamar Williams (FR, #44, LB, 58 OVR)
Arizona State removed Damien Williams (ineligible), Added Michael Willie (JUCO-JR, WR, #83, 71 OVR)
Arkansas removed Carlton Sanders (or was it Salters?), Added Jacoby Walker (FR, QB, #10, 70 OVR)
Arkansas removed David Gordon, Added DE/LB Chris Smith (FR, DE, #50, 70 OVR @ DE, 66 @ LB)
Auburn removed Dontae Aycock, Added Jeffrey Whittaker (FR, DT, #91, 76 OVR)
Buffalo removed Darius Willis, Added Cordero Dixon (FR, WR, #1, 69 OVR)
BYU Malosi Te'o RB to LB
Cal Chris Martin removed, Added Tevin Carter (FR, WR, #12, 76 OVR)
Central Michigan Added Brandon Fricke (QB, JR, #7, 60 OVR)
Florida Added Chris Martin (FR, DE/LB, 80 OVR)
Wisconsin Issac Anderson speed increase (83 to 88)

Spidey
07-24-2010, 11:03 AM
Glad to see Isaac Anderson get a speed bump. Badly needed. Though, IMO, 88 is still too low. I was thinking 90-92. He's one of the fastest WR on the team. 4.39 unofficial and was a Minnesota state record holder in the 100m for track.

But I know from doing it on my own copy of your rosters that it skyrockets his overall. I had to bump his awareness down and took a few tick off other things. I think I have him down to an 85 or 86.

His ACC is now 94, and I did lower his AWR to keep his OVR down. I think 88/94 is a good increase.

During his first three seasons at Tulsa, A.J. Whitmore scored a total of 17 touchdowns as the Golden Hurricanes multi-purpose threat.

Based on the headline of this post, you can make a pretty good guess as to how many he will score in 2010.

According to Tulsa World, the senior wide receiver has been dismissed from the university after failing to meet academic eligibility requirements. The paper reports that Whitmore has not requested a release so that he can transfer to another school, and could return to the team in 2011 if he can qualify academically as he has yet to use his redshirt.

Haven't had a chance to look at your rosters until now. Two notes for Arkansas State:

1. QB Butterfield should be a RSFr; you have him as a true Freshman.
2. Move FS Don Jones to HB, lower his BTK, raise his CAR. Bury him off the depth chart... he's sitting out the year due to grades.

Hey, I downloaded your latest update, and it has Barrett Mathews of Texas listed as a TE now, as he should be, but he is only 77 overall and he is reported to be the starter. I can obviously change this on my game, but just thought you might want to look into moving his overall up to 85-86 to match or beat Greg Smith who is currently #1 on the games depth chart.

EDIT: When I went in to fix this on my game, I found that all of his catching, catch in traffic, and spectacular catch ratings were way down. like low 60's and fifties. I moved catch up to about 82, spectacular catch to 68, and catch in traffic to 77. Then I bumped speed, run block, and run block strength up 2-3 points to get him to 86. Mostly the catching skills is where he was lacking though, so you might want to look into that in your next update.

couple things I noticed in your last update

Paul Richardson WR should be taken off UCLA
Kevin Guidrey TE ECU, transfered and now starting at USF
Dorsey is not on Michigan, pending transfer to Louisville

great rosters though

A few notes on Michigan State for your next update. FB Andrew Pendy should be changed to FB#44 Josh Rouse 6'3 235. Also on the defensive side if you could add #57 DE Jonathan Strayhorn 6'0 259, DE #52 Denzel Drone 6'2 252, OLB #28 Denicos Allen 5'10 215, and finally DB #12 Dana Dixon 6'2 173. Appreciate the hard work and looking forward to the next update!

Few USC changes

DE Marquis Jackson, change him to #56 James Boyd, rFR 6'4 245.

WR Brandon Carswell decided to stay at USC so make Steve Blackheart back into him, his stats should be under team builder. #80, 6'1 190 rJR

FS #25 Patrick Hall has been moved to RB

do you want me to put # changes, class changes and position changes?
I'm not by my system now, I know I made a bunch more.

USC LB Glenn Stanley was given his release and is expected to be eligible to play this season for FSU. He will 'probably' be a DE for fsu, but LB is not out of the question with Nigel Carr's legal status uncertain.

if the roster is full i would suggest replacing Jamar Jackson DE for fsu, career underachiever who will most likely not be on the 2-deep this season.

Where did you hear Stanley was released? He was denied his release and taking them to court. Unless this just happened and I haven't heard yet but its not on any USC sites as of now.

ok here is EVERYTHING i did for USC. You don't have to do ANY of these or you can do some, whatever you choose. These are just suggestions but I made all these in my game.

Player Changes
TE Christian Thomas to TE Jordan Cameron (#84, RS Senior)
K O'Malley to K Bobby Der (#39)
WR Devon Flournoy to WR #80 Brandon Carswell
Created WR Devon Flournoy (used the CAP Glitch to give him #81, duplicate number, I gave him Trevon Pattersons stats off teambuilder)
WR #46 Steve Blackheart to LB #46 Ross Cumming, made him about a 76 overall
QB #14 Brett Kan to CB #14 Demetrius Wright
C Giovany De Pialo to FS #49 Ryan McMahon
DE Marquis Jackson to DE James Boyd, #56
LB Glen Stanley to CB #45 Omari Crittenden OR DT #90 Derek Simmons, you can choose.
Created FB #27 Ahmed Mokhtar (used cap glitch to give him duplicate number)
Now the big change, may take some work. #8 Ronald Johnson needs to be #83 and Markeith Ambles needs to be #8. This is a duplicate number with DE Nick Perry...SO, write down all their attributes and skills, height weight etc all that. Make #8 into Markeith Ambles and give him all Ambles stuff, change #11 Ambles to Johnson, change to #83 and give him all the correct stats you just copied down. (I have these already, I can PM them or email whatever to you if you want them to save you time)

Position Changes
LT Lewis to LG
LG Graf to LG
FS Hall to RB
Kalil to LT
Heberer to RG
Holmes to RG
Martinez to RG
Coleman to RT
Harfman to P
P O'malley to K, changed to Der
Reardon to C

Skin Changes
C Markowitz to Light skin
TE Cameron to Light skin (formerly TE Thomas)

Number Changes
WR Woods - 13
HB McNeal - 22
RB Morgan - 34, have to change Stanley first, currently wearing #34
LB Pullard - 35
FB Vainuku - 41
DT Fangupo - 92
DT Uko - 95
CB Robey - 31, change to 165 pounds
S Bailey - 18

sorry aztecs, its official as of earlier today. He will be used as a hybrid DE/OLB at FSU. The new AD at USC is not a huge prick like the last one apparently.

From warchant.com writer

Just spoke with Stanley on the phone. Since getting his release this afternoon, he has spoken with Jimbo Fisher. He will be visiting Florida State tomorrow. Full update coming.
He will be at FSU unless something happens with the clearing house and then he will go to USF as a fall back plan, he fully expects to enroll at fsu.

well it makes sense now. USC under the appeal, cannot have things hanging over them like a lawsuit from this guy. That is why they dumped McNair and also got rid of Reggie's heisman. If he wanted to play early, should have stayed though with Campbell leaving and injury concerns. You are right about USF though, that is where the AP is reporting him heading

luvtotha9 does great work, but Iron Dragon does a great job updating his rosters with the help of the community. If there's some small schools you have roster info on, don't hesitate to post it here as well.

i think you have some names confused on Pitt because Fields doesn't show up on any depth chart I've seen and Kolby gray former qb is now a FS..

My friend had sent it too me on Pitt, but I could have made the mistake on that. My Bad

I wrote that for last year's game on another forum:

Just a note, you don't need to add me to your friends list for my rosters. You need to just type my name into the roster share 'IronDragonU'.

For some reason, I had 8 friend requests come in over night.

Also v1.2 fixes everything that has been suggested along with transfers, adding players.

Finally, in response - I'm not sure what the comment was about saying "i don't care about the little schools", I guess you've missed all the changes I've made to them?

By the way, I've updated how I got Masoli as a 89 - his ratings are all the same EXCEPT for his awareness which I moved to 70.

Also the new roster set is planned to drop at 11:59pm either Saturday (the 14th) or Sunday (the 15th - planned release date).. one month after 1.0 dropped.

This update will include following updates which I know people have been calling for:

Michigan's Denard Robinson and Tate Forcier's OVR will be the same.
Kansas State gets Bryce Brown - but he won't be on the depth chart, he's not on K-State yet but he is dying to go there and should be there by next year (season two of dynasty), he said he'd pay his own way and be a walk-on and not part of the Tennessee team.
Masoli's on Ole Miss.
Alot of players who have been dismissed (Fortson, Collier, etc.), and continuing adding in missing players.

Basically everything I've done before.

A few changes I noticed....I can post more when I double check the roster tomorrow.

UCF....Jeffery Godfrey (FR QB) should be dark skin. Johnathan Davis is a SO, EA put him as a JR.

ULL Rajin Cajuns...QB Blaine Gautier(SO) is dark skinned too. I know you really don't do rating changes, but his speed and acc should be at least in the 70's--he's the fastest QB on team. Well, besides Brad McGuire (which is sorta another change b/c he's going to be a hybird FB/QB)

Oh and I'm sure you heard, but JT Turner is no longer on the Michigan roster.
Also, thanks for editing Robert Partridge's ratings. I'm a former Massillon tiger (not player though), so gotta root for the Tiger alumni.

Changes cont'd

Akron: Alex Allen (6'0 210 RS(SR) this is his 6th year), should replace Erik Howard, the FR RB. Howard never enrolled, and Allen will be the starter this year, so he should be a 72-74 at least/

Former Michigan St DT and starter Oren Wilson has been added to the team. He's on MSU's roster as an 80, a senior, but he won't be eligible til 2011.
Ladrach should be the starting TE.

Just a few changes for Akron. I can do whatever else on my own since I don't think Akron isn't a top priority for most who use your roster. Thanks again for the rosters!

Here's my newest overhaul.. Duke Ihenacho (http://www.sjsuspartans.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5600&ATCLID=1134834) of SJSU, not sure how he slipped through the cracks so far, but EA has him as a white freshman in the game when in fact he's a senior and dark in real life, and he's on the Thorpe watch list with a 72 OVR rating and is #4 for safeties on NFLDraftScout (CBS), he was on the Thorpe watch list last year, as well.

He jumps to a 85. A two time All-WAC player of the year, probably headed for three-time.
