I cannot wait until the day comes that Tom Brady retires, along with Belichick and the rest of the Pats stars. I'm so fucking sick of this favoritism between the NFL and the Patriots.

oh? Like Manning doesnt/wouldnt get favoritism ?

He probably wouldn't do something as shady as what Brady did. Suh's kick cost him $80k. Brady's was more obvious.

Suh freaking stomped on some dude on the ground. Brady was sliding and brought his foot up. I don't like Brady but it's not like he was sliding and the lunged out with his leg to deliberately kick Reed.

He damn near was going for Reed's nuts lol. I wasn't talking about the stomp. I was talking about the kick on Schaub where he wasn't facing him rolling over making a kicking motion.

Yeah I don't know. Played in real time it just looks like an awkward slide and him protecting himself, not saying it's right to do. Anything slowed down and look bad.

Yeah but Suh is a repeat offender and that was after the stomp.

Well like I said, $10k is pretty lame when Gore got fined more for socks. If a defender did that to Brady with no history of being an offender, easily $50k fine.

Tom Brady might have been knocked out of the Superbowl but he can still go home to his $20 million dollar mansion and be with his model wife Gisele. What a place.

So I'm assuming that was just sort of like a special one-play moment in the game since Saturday is retiring. I refuse to watch the Pro Bowl anymore after that shitfest they tried to call a game last year, so no idea what all they did with that.

Ray Lewis isn't the only athlete alleged to have received the banned substances produced by Sports with Alternatives to Steroids (S.W.A.T.S.).
The same Sports Illustrated story that alleged Lewis obtained a banned deer-antler spray also contained a report that several Alabama football players received S.W.A.T.S. products prior to the Crimson Tide's January 2012 win over LSU in the BCS national title game.

For the love of god Super Bowl planners, FIND BETTER GODDAMN HALFTIME SHOWS!!! Our entire group of people tonight sat there the entire halftime show seeing who could make the best joke about what a joke of a show the halftime show was. Christ, the power outage was more entertaining than that shit at halftime.

As for the game, San Francisco fucked the duck in the first half. Made a great comeback but fucked it again in the fourth quarter. That fourth down pass at the end with a minute and whatever seconds left, what the hell kind of pass was that? Chuck the goddamn thing out of the back of the end zone? And running on third and 13 or 18 or whatever it was? Are you kidding me? Some of those dumbass play calls throughout the game and the dumbass passes that Kaepernick made screwed the 49ers more than Bubba screwing a jail cell bitch.

My biggest surprise was how horribly unprepared and/or scatter brained the 49ers were early on. You open the game with an illegal formation penalty on your first play? How does that happen? On the third play the run fake went to nobody as the back went the wrong direction. These are scripted plays and that crap should have never happened.

Kaepernick was inaccurate early on as well. I like him - fast, strong arm and played well enough but his inexperience showed. Took too long with some plays and taking that timeout early in the third hurt. Simms made a good point about how he doesn't have good timing yet. He waits for the break and then fires. His throwing motion is a bit long but the cannon makes up for it.

As for the no call on that last pass play, it was a little touchy but Crabtree ran into the CB to create contact. He was in the contact area so I didn't have a big problem with it. WRs get away with a lot of crap too.

I'm sure the Ravens coaches specifically instructed them "hold them, grab their jersey, grab their leg like a little kid, whatever it takes". Because at worst, they get called for a holding penalty resulting in a safety. At best, they get no call and run out the remainder of the clock with no penalty.

Agreed, it was piss poor play calling on all 4 downs imo

I agree. I'm not sure what was worse - the play calling or clock management. They took an awful long time to pick those lousy plays. There was no reason for them to let the clock run down to the 2:00 warning either. They had 30 seconds to get a play called but there was no urgency and the coaches didn't seem to know what to call. Then on the 2nd play after the time out they have to burn a time out to avoid a delay of game. That was two wasted timeouts in addition to the one they burned early in the 3rd quarter. By taking too long they put all their eggs in one basket which was to score on that final series or lose.

My biggest surprise was how horribly unprepared and/or scatter brained the 49ers were early on. You open the game with an illegal formation penalty on your first play? How does that happen? That actually happens a lot more than you'd think. At least I feel like I see it a lot more than should be possible.

quite frankly,it is. it wasnt five, it was 4 to 7 total. Ginn caught nothing.

Kaep went 16-28, his 300 yards were useless in the red zone and he kept throwing to a covered Crabtree.

yes, it is a major ,glaring difference in quality of a QB performance.

Both sides had 4 players with 4+ targets and the Ravens threw it more. Let's face it, the 49ers do not have a deep WR corp either.

So :D :D :D two interesting stories in the NFL today.

Gregg Williams reinstated by Goodell today, hired immediately by Tennessee as a special assistant to the defense or something.

And Gronk offered $3.75M to star in a porno with Bibi Jones.

its uninteresting non news, he wont take it if he wants to remain a Patriot. He's dumb but hopefully not that dumb

Nope. It just means they can't move for the next 15 years.

Actually, I think they'd stay right where they are. That's how far behind they already are.

I predict they'll pick Luke Joeckel. I think they'd be stupid not to.
