EDIT: Also the shoulder stripes need to be fixed. In game they are too low and thin. A thicker stripe higher on the shoulder and straight down should fix it.

Also there needs to be a "Revo Speed" "Speed Robot QB" which is the same as "Speed Robot 2" but without the 2 front, top bars gone for more open sight by qb. (shown below)

Also, need to add a "QB" playchart to the "handwarmer" option. (also shown below)

I know this sounds stupid, but I would like to see mouthguards in the game. It's one of those "safety" things that I'm surprised the game doesn't show. I want to see a qb fidgeting with his mouth guard as he gets ready to call the signals, or sticking it in his facemask before going back to the huddle. Just an example of something to show off that safety aspect of the game.

And as much as it doesn't bother me while I'm playing, I'm disappointed that long hair didn't make the cut this year. It would add a sense of immersion to certain players.

The qb takes them out in between plays so he can talk... That's not a safety issue at all. If they don't ever take them out you'll never know they are there. Like I said though, it's not necessarily even a great thing to have in the game, but it would be something if they were struggling to find equipment to work on.

Also, we still need multi-colored sleeves (assuming they are legal) and sleeves/half sleeves with team logos on them (logos should probably be team accurate, so not every team sleeve would have a logo). Need to add secondary color sleeves/equipment. This gives every team white/black/team color/secondary color to choose from. Many more options open up.

The qb takes them out in between plays so he can talk... That's not a safety issue at all.It's a safety issue if they forget to put them back in, which I've seen before :D But only at the HS level. Obviously college QBs should be accustomed to it by then.

The Big Ten Conference logo will appear on the jerseys for the first time, as it will for all other member schools.

Yeah. I'm sorry, but who gives a damn about Paterno in regards to the uniforms. The uniforms are Penn State. Penn State's uniforms are iconic, regardless of whatever Paterno may have had to do with them. You change the uniforms, you may as well change team colors, change mascots, and change the entire damn team name. Oh yeah, and change the stadium. Did I miss anything?

The 09.29.2012 in the video leads me to believe that these will be worn for the game at home against :Wisconsin:, and Kwizzy said on Facebook that there are rumors about the Badgers having a special uniform for the game as well.

When Purdue visits Kinnick Stadium on Nov. 10, the scoreboard won’t be the only place the Iowa football team will be looking to make a statement.

The Hawkeyes will be making a fashion statement as well, joining a growing number of college football teams adding to their wardrobe collection this fall by wearing alternate uniforms.

In addition to wearing throwback uniforms for the Sept. 8 game against Iowa State to honor championship teams from the early 1920s, Iowa will wear combat-style uniforms for its home game against the Boilermakers.

The Hawkeyes’ look will include silver pants, silver helmets and black-and-gold jerseys that are designed as a tribute to Iowa’s military personnel, containing a logo of branch of the armed forces on the back.


Players had a chance to select logos for the branch of the military of their choice.

“I have a friend who has done a couple of tours in Afghanistan and the logo on my uniform honors him and that branch of the armed forces,” quarterback James Vandenberg said.

Ok this is where I get nitpicky because I love the small intricate details in a game. All in all, EA really needs to take some cues from 2K sports as far as full player customization.
1. Loose (quarterback-style) sleeves. I have been posting this to EA for 4 years now. If they can make an animated hand towel they can make loose sleeves.
2. Eye Black. A no-brainer.
3. Hand Towel Location. Center or side. Players wear them in different locations on the belt.
4. Different team colors on uniform options (i.e...Auburn has orange wristbands as well)
5. All styles of helmets with ALL styles of facemasks. They took away the single bar options on the facemasks. We want to see ALL options.
6. Full player customization. As I stated earlier, face sliders, hair/eye color, hair style, facial hair style, tattoos, etc...
7. Various QB throwing styles. I credit myself for posting for years on EA's forums for Madden's QB's and they finally listened a couple years ago, now if only NCAA would give us, say 5 various throwing styles.
8. Bring back Draft Class Transfer.
9. Senior Bowl, East-West Shrine Game. Make the results reflect when we transfer the player(s) over to Madden.
10.Army and Under Armour All-American game for high school recruits.
11. The ability to transfer schools in Road to Glory.
12. Bring back the discipline system and medical redshirt from NCAA 03'. It was a great thing. Bring it back.

When they take the field at Beaver Stadium for their 126th season, The Pennsylvania State University football team will wear uniforms featuring a blue ribbon to support all victims of child abuse. Also, for the first time, the names of each football player will adorn their jersey in recognition of their resolve and dedication to the team and the University.

That may be a yes on BG. If it was just plain white helmets, maybe. But if they went to the trouble to put the stripes on the helmets, then that sort of semi-confirms it in my mind. Putting stripes on that many helmets for what would end up being nothing more than practice helmets for the defense (or offense) to wear would be a waste of time in my opinion.

The Ohio football team will wear special decals on its helmets to honor victims of child abuse when it meets Penn State next Saturday in the season opener for both teams.

The Bobcats' equipment staff has been working with the Penn State athletic department to design the stickers, which will mirror patches worn by the Nittany Lions throughout the season.

The gesture is meant "to join the Penn State team in showing support for child abuse victims," Ohio athletic director Jim Schnaus wrote in an email to Yahoo! Sports on Saturday.

The game is Penn State's first since the conviction of former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky, who was found guilty in June of 45 criminal counts of sexual abuse of 10 boys. It will also be the team's first game under new coach Bill O'Brien, who said on the first day of practice earlier this month, "We have to understand our responsibilities to children."

Penn State was dealt major NCAA sanctions after the Sandusky conviction and the ensuing Freeh Commission report, which was ordered by the school itself. The sanctions included a $60 million penalty, a four-year football postseason ban and a vacating of all wins dating back to 1998.

Ohio's decision to wear the decals was finalized late this week. According to the NCAA, no other teams have thus far requested permission to wear special decals in games against Penn State this season.

Ohio is coming off its first 10-win season since 1968 and its first bowl win, a 24-23 victory over Utah State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

--First I would like to see Florida's team accessory color corrected from blue to orange. It should be orange so that they cleats and knee braces are orange like they are in reality.

--New player models or. Please correct the way Revolution helmets fit on the head. They are perfect in Madden 13, but look horrible in NCAA. They sit down too far on the head and cover the eyes. And the masks stick out too far. I would love to see player models enhanced like what's in madden. Helmets, flak jackets, back plates, etc all look better.

--Also add the two new helmet styles that are in Madden. One is the Rawlings, not sure the other.

--Add all of the new facemask styles for the Revo Speed helmets. A lot of popular designs are missing.

--ALTERNATE TEAM COLORS!!!! Please make 2 team colors available for teams.

--New Nike cleats that don't have the black Nike logo on them. New Adidas cleats as the ones in the game are awful and look generic.

--Make the bicep, leg, and forearm bands a little thinner so that they do not look like big rings around the players.

--Wouldn't mind seeing better dread locks and long hair for the white guys.

--Add a QB Wrist option for the waist. Have a handwarmer and QB wrist to choose from.

--Eye paint, tape, and nose tape.

--Maybe some other small details like back plates hanging out of a jersey.

I mentioned in an earlier post about player models and helmets not looking right in NCAA 13 compared to Madden 13. Here's some photos showing the differences.

You notice how Madden's Revo helmets sit on the head correctly to where you can clearly see the eyes, compared to NCAA's where you can't see the eyes. From the side view, you can cleary see the eyes in the Madden photos and the facemask covers the lower part of the nose compared to NCAA's where the mask sits below the nose. I love the Revo helmets, I wish they were modeled better in NCAA.

Washington State's in game uni is way off. Here's what the uniforms should be, each bulleted with at least most of what's different:

TOP 2 PICS: Crimson helmets and jersey/pant colors are much deeper than in game (and in game helmet logo should be slightly bigger), shoulder stripes are straight down while in game are rounded, Fly wire design on V-neck and Pac-12 logo are missing in game. Also not sure if WSU (front helmet) and COUGARS (Back helmet) are correct. Pant design is wrong in game and WSU logo should be on hip, not thigh.

NEXT 2 PICS: Gray helmet in game has no semblance of the new gray that the Cougs wear. In game it is sparkly and darker, but IRL it is more of a creamy, flat, shiny gray. The "COUGARS" scripted helmets are the same color gray. Again on white jersey the flywire design on v-neck and shoulder stripes need correcting while Pac-12 logo needs added to jersey.

Would be interesting to debut a new look on the road. As you illustrate, however, the Twitter back-and-forth would seem to suggest as much.

The helmet really doesn't do anything for me, personally. The hurricane flag stripe could've been cool, but it looks bizarre not going all the way down the back of the helmet. The "Tulsa" wordmark on the sides of the helmet is horribly plain as well. Looks like it's trying to be a throwback design, but I haven't found anything to suggest that the team has worn anything like it in its history.

I'll be, they indeed bust out the helmets on the road. Are those jerseys and pants currently in 13? I can't remember if they were already present or not, and can't check since I'm at work. If they're not, looks like I might be buying a second uniform pack in a couple weeks.

Since they are going through all of this trouble to make sure they get all or most of these uniforms in game, they need to realize and do something that is very simple a day 1. Something that should have been done a long time ago. GIVE US ALTERNATE TEAM COLORS!!!

Meanwhile, I was also trying to prepare a list of helmets styles and brands needed. NCAA 13 is missing a lot compared to Madden. If NCAA just had the ones from Madden, it would be more than enough.

Also, Adidas is spitting out all these new flashy unis. EA needs to sharpen up the cleat styles for Adidas teams. The Adidas cleats are worse than the generic ones for UTSA for example. If you only get one style, at least make them cool looking. The Nike ones are the best Nike styled cleats, but they arent the worse either. The Under Armour ones look real good.

Agree that it's certainly large, however it's extremely noticeable on TV so I think it's doing a great job in that regard.

As far as the claw marks, they're certainly better on this jersey than our normal ones that have both shoulder numbers and claw marks in place of TV numbers.

Yeah, I really like that helmet. Looks like they changed it from the PCs, and this time went with matte for the white area, and then the chrome back. Also kept the anchor logo which I like. I definitely must get my hands on one of these helmets, it will look amazing in my Navy collection. :nod:

Those are fresh! I would pay for those in NCAA 13. In Cajun Country, the Fleur de Lis is a big deal so to really showcase it is pretty cool. I'm glad :Louisiana: is doing well. It offsets the pain of :Southern_Miss: tanking like no other.

Like mentioned before by a fellow Coug, there is a real problem with WSU's jerseys. No Pac-12 logo on the jerseys, WSU logo needs to be on the hip of the pants, and the helmet colors aren't correct, gray facemask not red, and a WSU right above the facemask. For example. the gray helmets need to be fixed...

The Florida Gators will have new uniforms in 2013. With new, bigger numbers and a different font.
-Also add that add helmet's facemask style. Most d-lineman are wearing those now. I'd like to see all the facemask styles that Madden has at least.
-Florida also had new field art and the stadium corner slogans repainted with a new font. That was done for the 2012 season, hopefully it's in 2013.
-Also, Florida and other SEC teams wear a new SEC Logo Patch on their uniforms and new SEC Logo sticker on their helmets. They have done away with the pennant shaped SEC patch/stick for a new circle one.
-ALSO FOR THE ONE MILLIONTH TIME. You know I'm going to say it. Fix Florida's accessory color from blue to orange or add multiple accessory colors.
