Wednesday or Thursday work better for me than tonight-- generally, later in the evening (10 PM central) would work best. Would 10 or 10:30 PM CST on Wednesday work for you?

I'm running a little behind tonight-- will probably be closer to 10:30. Hope this isn't a problem.

#16 Texas A&M held on for a 21-7 victory over the visiting #22 Syracuse Orange in a defensive struggle that was closer than the final score indicated. Neither team scored in the first quarter, and the Aggies drew first blood in the second quarter, as backup running back Charles Burton scored from 14 yards out on a toss play to the right side. The Aggies caught a lucky break shortly before halftime, when QB Jameill Showers was picked off near the end zone, but the ball was fumbled, and A&M recovered inside the 1-yard line, and then scored on the next play to take a 14-0 lead shortly before halftime.

Syracuse scored early in the 4th quarter, converting on 4th-and-goal from the 3-yard line. The Orange appeared poised to tie the game following a 25-yard punt return to the Aggies 30 with about 3 minutes left-- but safety Howard Matthews picked off a pass in the end zone. After the interception, the Aggies worked the clock, running for three first downs on their final drive, and Ben Malena topped it off by taking a toss 31 yards for the final touchdown.

Good game, gschwendt.

Rice pulls out another W to get to 2-6 on the year.

The bad part is that I lost my starting QB for 9 weeks. BOOOO
