Hey guys.

So I have been playing as Boise State in ranked matches for the past week. However i seem to have major issues on defense. I feel like the players on Boise are to slow to run the 4-2-5. It feels like they are really really vulnerable against a speed back or an outside run. And in coverage I feel like the defensive backs can't run and keep up with the WRs which causes me to give up chunks of yardage in the passing game. Hell even if they run it inside they get 4-5 ypc. Anyone have any advice or have the same problem? Is my play calling just bad? What are some key plays you should be using on D as Boise?

Thanks

You should read the thread concerning the under front defensive style posted by OneBack. It is a really good philosophy that will always put one extra player at the point of attack than the offense has capable of blocking and is also zone heavy so you wont have to rely on your corners keeping up with WR's all the way down the field.
