Syracuse falls to Virginia Tech, 34-28. The Orange defense stumbled allowing 422 total yards of offense, most importantly, allowing 184 yards to VT HB Tony Gregory on 16 carries. Both teams added a defensive touchdown but in the end, the Syracuse offense turned over the ball losing it three times compared to the Hokies' one.

The loss had to come eventually but unfortunately tarnishes the matchup against undefeated Baylor next week. As well, if The Orange hopes to make it to the conference title game, they will now have to root against the Hokies for the remainder of the season as both teams have a single loss in conference play.

:smh: RG3 shall show you no mercy next week as you ruined his chances of single handidly winning a national championship.

Western Michigan had a slow first half, but pulled away after halftime to beat an overmatched Eastern Michigan team 40-10. In the second half, WMU ran for nearly 200 yards and picked off four passes, outscoring EMU 24-0. Northern Illinois will provide more of a test next week.

Tulane pushes through a fumble at the goal line which lead to Rice getting momentum....however it was 3rd string running back Titus James with a 24-yard run up the middle that gave Tulane the 29-22 win to get to 3-3. Tulane already has more wins in 2012 than all of 2011 (2).
