I swear, including the utter bullshit that is the Harris Poll in the BCS Standings is just a total crock. Of course, the Computer Rankings, in general, are a total crock as well. Oklahoma State is #1?! I'm sorry, but that's just bullshit.

God I fuckin' hate College Football. :smh:

The one that blows me away is that two computers have 2-loss Auburn ahead of Wisconsin. The same Auburn that struggled to beat Utah St and had FAU as it's other non-conference game. Some of them computers have a wee bit of the SEC bias and they really do not like the B1G Ten.

Yea that one is just bullshit and doesn't pass the smell test. Anyone one with a lick of common sense would know right away how retarded that is.

I'm sorry to our Nebraska brethren here, but Nebraska should not be as high as they are. Who have they beaten this year? A shitty Ohio State team? :smh:

I just hate ranking bullshit. It's all subjective bullshit. I can't wait until this fuckin' league wakes the fuck up and makes a damn playoff, like it should be. I swear, if I didn't like WVU as much as I do, I wouldn't even waste my time watching College Football. It's one big vat of hypocrisy.

Agreed. We're not a good team right now.

...and yes I'm DYING for a playoff....meaning I'm dying for a lot of unbeatens this year.

Well there is always the FCS. I do enjoy what little coverage we get of their playoff system. I seem to recall picking Georgia Southern to win the FCS this year and they are currently undefeated and number one in the rankings. :P

I would have to agree Nebraska is not doing well this year. Im hoping that second half against Ohio State will give us the boost that we need for the rest of the year, but im guessing i will be saying "maybe next year" AGAIN!!!!

Also a playoff system would be nice, but i also like the BCS just because it makes it interesting...but a playoff system would be better.

I still say LSU is going to win it all this year.

If you like offense, you should tune in tonight to the FIU vs Arkansas State game. Their front 7 is pretty good but their secondary is pretty bad so it only helps our passing game. Our question mark also falls into the secondary so it will be interesting to see if we can slow down T.Y. Hilton after he's had time to rest his hamstring. These are probably the two best offenses in the Sun Belt so it will be interesting to see how the game develops.

So far, tie game 3-3. Interesting to watch two teams that are either, not very good offensively, or, are showing good defensive abilities.

I want to say it's the defenses but not sure. For a Malzahn clone, our coach sure likes vanilla playcalling. We've got three 6'3+ WRs.and you get down inside the 10 and don't throw at least one up... :-\ we're usually a second half team do we'll see how it goes. That field goal at the half though was huge so hopefully we use that momentum.

Meanwhile, we're having a couple moments of stupid playcalling. 2nd (or maybe it was 3rd?) and 20+ and you call a run up the middle. :fp: To go along with all the stupid penalties FIU kept committing in the 1st half.

Speaking of stupid ass penalties. Getting flagged for sideline interference. :fp: Penalties are going to ruin FIU.

Finally opening our playbook a bit. Running plays we haven't run in several weeks and finding success. Good drive though I'd prefer we were able to extend the field more than we have.

T.Y. HILTON! You can't stop him, you can only hope to contain him.

Arkansas State finally started opening their playbook in the second half. Loved the fake "Reggie Fish (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mI4_r020UNU)" play (we ran the real version earlier in the season), but then also expanded our running game by motioning the TE around. That and finally hit one of our tall receivers in the endzone on a fade (though expected him to be called for interference). Defense made sure that the Pink Panthers couldn't show up in the fourth quarter.

Big win for the Red Wolves... we're now up front in the conference race with ULL. We've got UNT & FAU next two games so hopefully we don't stumble in either of those so that it sets up a big conference game as we host ULL after that.

Tyrann Mathieu, Tharold Simon, and Spencer Ware both suspended for Auburn game (http://content.usatoday.com/communities/campusrivalry/post/2011/10/lsu-tyrann-mathieu-spencer-ware-tharold-simon-suspension/1). Not sure if it means Auburn will be able to win now or not but certainly makes a pretty big difference.

Thank goodness, this coming from someone that knows exactly what it is like to have a broken neck

12 screws and 3 plates later, I'm cleared to play football or hockey if I wanted to but I thought I was lucky enough.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- East Carolina quarterback Dominique Davis has set two NCAA records for successive pass completions.

Davis completed his first 26 passes against Navy on Saturday, breaking the single-game record of 23 set by Tee Martin of Tennessee in 1998 and tied by Aaron Rodgers of California in 2004.

After going 26 for 26 for 251 yards in the first half against Navy, Davis missed his first pass attempt in the third quarter.

Davis, a 6-foot-3 senior, completed his final 10 passes last week against Memphis, giving him 36 straight completed passes -- eclipsing the season mark of 26 set by Rodgers in 2004.

First off congrats to Texas Tech. Some things I would like to get off my chest.

Recruit the best kicker in the country this year, I do not care how much he costs.
Bob, your goalie offense/short yardage offense/red zone offense cost you another game. It cost you a National Title against Florida, which I thought would be enough for you to put some emphasis on this.
Brennan Clay is the most boring RB in all of college football. Just leave Finch in the whole game or hand it off to Millard.

Just clean up some of this mess so we can play spoiler to KSU and OSU.

Houston 56

Just sayin' ...

In other news, here are a couple of statistical nuggets from Sat night's Marshall-UH game:

UH finished with more points (63) than plays (57);

More proof that ToP is overrated--Marshall controlled the ball for 42:45, but lost by 35. The fact that Houston avg'd over 10 yds per snap may have had something to do with that...
