Even though there aren't a lot of ranked match-ups, I can see a lot of close games and maybe upsets this week.

The A&M/Arkansas game doubles as a "Welcome to the SEC" game for A&M but is also a game each team needs to stay near the top half of the Top 25.

I'm still not sure what to think of Clemson yet. The VT game should show which team (if either) is legit this season.

Air Force @ Navy
Wake Forrest @ Boston College
Georgia Tech @ NC State
Wahington @ Utah
UCLA @ Stanford

Those are all the games that i'm really interested in, although i will be flipping to others on commercials. Glad to see LSU got the no. 1 ranking seeing as their schedule has been deadly so far.

I can't wait to see Nebraska vs Wisconsin and Clemson vs Virgina Tech.

Those 2 games are ones I'm really looking forward to watching this week.

The way we're playing, we better brace to take it up the tailpipe.

At least Nebraska has played a descent team in Washington this year. Wisconsin has not played anyone this year. That has to help the Huskers a bit. That said with the game being played at Wiscy, I just do not see them losing this one.

Yeah, but Nebraska's passing defense is 10th in the B1G right now. That scares me going up there.

A little late, but my games of interest for this week

12:00 PM ET No. 14 Texas A&M vs. No. 18 Arkansas
12:00 PM ET Air Force at Navy
2:00 PM ET Kent State at Ohio
3:30 PM ET Auburn at No. 10 South Carolina

Another pretty quiet week. The only games I am going to be seriously watching will be Air Force-Navy, Duke-Florida International, and Nebraska-Wisconsin. The rest will be games for flipping between during commercials or blowouts.

A&M blows another big lead in a loss.

Texas Tech spots Kansas 20 points and still covers.

Tech's defense is just not very good. That was what Tubby was supposed to bring to Tech.

Penn State fans need to breathe a sigh of relief, almost lost to a team that got beat by North Texas.

They would be a good choice. If TCU loses to SMU they would be there with Miss St.

Growing up across the street from some hardcore Miss St fans, the less they ring those cowbells, the better.

P.S. Hurricane suicide watch is on

Watching the Baylor KSU game and Baylor is playing well on the road against a good KSU defense. Baylor winning a big one on the road would be a tremendous boost in confidence.

Edit: WOW! What a TD pass/catch to pull them ahead by two scores. Check that one out on ESPN later.

Almost forgot

Congrats to the Aggies on their SEC warm up choke.

The Ohio State offense is pitiful....wow. They are getting worse as the season goes on. (Nebraska had the same issue the last couple years, so I know how it feels.)

That catch by Wright (BAY) was awesome. RGIII plays like a video game QB; unreal.

bdoughty

Not able to see the Ohio State game but checking out gamecast. Getting shutout at home. :))

RGIII does play like a video game QB and Wright is pretty much Randy Moss from the original NFL 2K game.

Worse than the "0" on the scoreboard are the stats. 116 total yards and only 22 yards rushing.

Griffin's first INT of the year dooms Baylor. Though, they scored enough points to get the win. The D wasn't there.

Western Michigan wins at Connecticut 38-31

I thought Baylor had it but KSU D showed up.

TCU scores 23 4th quarter points to take it to OT... and they lose to SMU 40-33

idk Boston College is making a strong run for that, their 1-4 right now with losses to Northwestern, UCF, Duke, and Wake Forrest, and their only win coming against UMass.

Well, the Air Force-Navy game made for a depressing start to the weekend, but Florida International doing their best to salvage it right now. Wayne Times with a 34 yard TD reception to put FIU up 27-17 over Duke with 13:30 left to play in the game.

Fuck. Duke responds with a 54 yard pass to get down inside the FIU 10 yard line with a single play. :fp:

Thanks to Florida International's defense decided to spend the final 13 minutes of the game with their heads up their goddamn asses, as well as Navy losing to the Zoomies, this just became an extremely depressing weekend. Time to get fucked up on Courvoisier. See you all on Tuesday when I come out of my coma.

On the bright side Cornhusker fans, you got Ohio State at home next week. We can go ahead and chalk up your first B1G win.

South Carolina runs out of time against Auburn. Sure looked like they had a second or two on the clock. I wouldn't have mattered, they deserved to lose the way they played tonight. SOS needs to sit Garcia's ass down for the rest of the season. He just doesn't have it this year. Not that Conner Shaw is any better but it's time for a change.

I like this!

Ole Miss finally gives me a good game on offense tonight! Randall Mackey shows why he should have been starting the whole season. Donte Moncrief, Tobias Singleton, and Nick Brassell are some of the best true freshmen wide receivers I've seen in awhile.

South Carolina forced to abandon ‘Wounded Warrior’ jerseys after warmups.

South Carolina was forced to change its jerseys prior to today's game against Auburn because the officials were having difficulty reading the numbers.

The Gamecocks were sporting their new Under Armour "Wounded Warrior" camouflage uniforms during warmups when officials raised concerns based on conference rules, according to South Carolina spokesman Steve Fenk. The Gamecocks switched to their home black jerseys but kept their new pants, shoes and other accessories.

The jerseys will still be auctioned off Monday with the funds going to Under Armour's "Believe in Heroes" campaign. Texas Tech and South Florida also will be wearing the "Wounded Warrior" jerseys this year.

Although Under Armour provided a release about the South Carolina jerseys, it did not say whether modifications would have to be made for Texas Tech, which will be wearing its uniforms against Oklahoma State on Oct. 12, or South Florida, which will be wearing their uniforms against Miami on Nov. 19.

Well, my Golden Eagles let Rice hang around, giving them 14 points off of fumbles returned for TDs. We put up 48 but we HAVE to cut down on mistakes if we're going to win the division and/or conference.

That stinks, but based on this pic I can see the issue:
