Ben's open because there's not much to hide these days.... everyone knows EA rushes the game out and as a result, can't fix all the bugs before the launch... he also confirmed that pretty much any idea the hardcore community thinks of will be watered down so that "everyone can enjoy it", [meaning the clueless masses that only play the game for a few weeks until Madden comes out].For everyone bitching about being a beta tester and the game being buggy...then saying we are all sick of it and people aren't going to buy the game..that's not what the sales numbers show...all the big dogs at EA that aren't in touch with the community see is that the game set sales records this year...yee haw!Lastly, Ben mentioned that "most of the guys" are now working on 13. This was intentional and was intended to send us a message. The message is, don't expect miracles from these patches and tuners.

The message is- it is what it is and WE (the development team) have moved on. They are NOT going to put much effort in to fixing the problems with NCAA 12.

That couldn't be any further from the truth.

I did not listen to the podcast so I have no idea if it was mentioned but...

GGGGG Go Daddy is looking for someone to buy the domain
http://www.bcfxgame.com/

The Publisher of the game is too embarrassed to even list the game now.
http://www.aspyr.com/product/product_listing

The Developer has not had a press release since it went on the Mo'nique show in Jan 2010
http://www.nerjyzed.com/

and an article that shows just how dishonest the developer of the game was.

This one if for the guys who bitch about having to pre-order games.

Perhaps anticipating early sales hurdles, Nerjyzed proposed a curious marketing strategy in June 2009. In an e-mail to investors, CFO Frederick Johnson said 3,000 reserve preorders needed to be placed with GameStop stores, which he said would then issue purchase orders for 10 times that amount. To make that happen, Johnson encouraged investors to reserve 20 copies each at a GameStop in their area.

“You can only reserve five copies, or $25 per customer,” his e-mail said. “The reserve cost is $5 per game. To reach your 20 reserve orders, you will have to reserve the other 15 [in sets of five] copies in other individuals’ names that have a different address than yours. Your total outlay will be $100. If you choose to cancel your order upon receiving notice that your order[s] is available for pick up by the store, the store will issue you an in-store credit.”

The sales inflation effort sounds like an attempt to game the gaming industry.

As for a patch to NCAA 12, it is coming, sometime. Did people really expect the whole team to be working on a patch and the shock and awe that they have staff already working on NCAA 13? For cripes sake they already have people working on making games for the next gen systems like Wii U and the next Xbox/PS3. I am not defending one of the buggiest games they have put out in quite a while but it's not like we haven't seen this before from EA, 2Ksports or any other dev. You buy a game at launch, any game, and you can expect to see issues. Early adopters have always payed the price and it is becoming more and more that way buying video games, The creation of CONSOLE patching, while a godsend at times can also become a crutch for the Publisher (notice I said PUBLISHER). The guys who push games out of the door.

It is not like I posted it just for you. Some people may not have heard the story behind what happened. In my 20+ years on message boards I have never felt it necessary to Ignore a user or use the ignore user feature. Congrats on making me break that today.

ok, ok, I hear ya'..I dont have anything against you. No excuses, but I've been spending too much time on the internet lately and just messing around too much to forget my current situation and its coming out wrong. So, I'll curtail it and hopefully be busy with stuff in September,.. I'm sorry. The ultimate reason I came here was to have fun with the game like everyone else.

I would assume that 20+ years ago a lot of people had ol' Al Gore on the ignore list. Seeing as he kept trying to take credit for inventing it and all.
