Northwestern Basketball Could Have a Purple Court in 2011

The Northwestern Wildcats continue to hold the dubious distinction of being the only BCS conference basketball program that has never made the NCAA Tournament. Though they have improved to two straight NIT bids in recent years, they have yet to make a major splash.

That splash may come in a sea of purple, as they have propsoed an almost all-purple court to their new paint scheme:
