With a new collective bargaining agreement reached between the National Football League and the National Football League Player's Association, free agency is about to start fast and furious. As such, the team ratings revealed by ESPN.com's Jon Robinson on the Gamer Blog will likely not be representative of the final team ratings once all of the free agents and trades are addresses in the game's rosters.

That doesn't mean we can't look at how the ratings are put together so far, however.

First, the links to the original stories in case you missed them:

AFC East (http://espn.go.com/espn/thelife/videogames/blog/_/name/thegamer/id/6786158/afc-east)
AFC West (http://espn.go.com/espn/thelife/videogames/blog/_/name/thegamer/id/6786213/afc-west)
AFC North (http://espn.go.com/espn/thelife/videogames/blog/_/name/thegamer/id/6786214/afc-north)
AFC South (http://espn.go.com/espn/thelife/videogames/blog/_/name/thegamer/id/6786216/afc-south)

Overall conference rankings:

And now division-by-division rankings; the "Differential" number measures the difference between the best and worst teams in the division to gauge the "strength" of that division based on how close or far apart the team ratings are:

With all of the players that Baltimore has released I'm surprised they are rated #4 in the AFC. Also, I think Cleveland will surprise a lot of teams this year.

Keep in mind that these ratings were released before the players in Baltimore were released haha.
